We all have our favorite television shows to watch. Whether they are dramatic, funny, reality, or a mixture of genres. We have the lineup of the shows we watch and go back to time and time again because we simply love them. Some of the shows we like are hilarious and focus on the lighter side of life; they are a great escape from a hard day at work. Sometimes we like shows that have a lot of action or adventure because we like that adrenaline rush—it makes us feel alive. Scary shows can also keep us on the edge of our seats.

There is no right or wrong answer as to which show is best, it just depends on what we like. Maybe you favor comedy over action or vice versa. Maybe reality really gets you amped up after a long day because you like watching all of the drama. Stranger Things came out and the world was like...say what? It was a blast from the '80s past with some great retro beats as well as a killer plot line. The characters were adorable too; how could you help but not love every single one of those kids? And the demigorgons? No thank you, those things are totally brutal.

They are strong woman that are all locked up in the same place—jail. All of their stories eventually come to the surface, but the show does some digging into each and every one of them. It's interesting to see the back stories on all of them, but it is also interesting to see how all of them interact with each other as well.

It's been on seemingly forever and even has multiple spin offs including the Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, that's right it's The Bachelor! Women line up to hopefully get engaged to the world's most eligible bachelor, but there is a ton of drama to boot. Keep in mind, they are fending off other women along the way.

It's a dysfunctional family that lives in Quahog, Rhode Island. Peter, the patriarch of the family, works in a brewery while his wife is a piano teacher and stay at home mother. His talking dog and kids are a lot to handle as well. This show is full of laughs, flashbacks, musical numbers, chicken fights, and all around surprises.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is about five friends that own a bar in the middle of Philadelphia together. The problem is they are god awful business people, and they are much more concerned in their own schemes to be caught up in running a successful business. Every episode consists of a foiled scheme and a lot of laughs.

My 600lb Life is about people that are vastly over weight and their journey to get weight loss surgery as well as take the pounds off. It isn't always an easy show to watch because the drama is oh, so real, but the weight loss is remarkable for those that obey the program. It is also heartbreaking for those that don't.

Making a Murder is about a man that has been convicted for a murder he may or may not have committed. At the very least, the evidence is inconclusive at best, but the show allows to audience to draw their own conclusions about the case. It is kind of sad because this man could be completely innocent and rotting away in jail.

The Real Housewives of Orange County is one of those shows that you either love or you hate. the characters are easy to totally get behind or completely loathe. These women are all based in Southern Orange County and they have a lot to say about just about everything in their lives. They are loud, entitled, and self important that's for sure.

We all remember Mama June from Honey Boo Boo, right? Well, she is back again for another show with her family, but this time she has gotten her act together (kind of) and lost a serious amount of weight. Her and Sugar Bear are through and this show is about revenge, drama, and winning over their daughter, Alana's affection.

Better Call Saul was a spin off from the ever so famous Breaking Bad, except this show focuses on none other than the slimy Saul. Little did we know that Saul got into so many misadventures before stepping foot into the whole breaking Bad universe. In this show we get to see where Saul got his start and how he got so shady.

The Americans is about two seemingly normal people that live in an American suburb with their two kids. However, no one knows that they are actually two Russian spies that are sending back intelligence to their home country, Russia, and doing a great job killing people they are assigned to knock off for lack of better words.

Supergirl, of course, is about none other than the super hero Supergirl. It is a triumph for all women that were looking for a super hero on prime time television to rally behind. Finally, woman are able to feel empowered with the drama and super powers that revolve around this show. It was something that kept us hooked.

Oh the drama that Mad Men had to offer! There was always something going on in Don Draper's life, although a lot of it was self caused. Who ever knew that a job could ever be so dramatic though? We were hooked to what was happening on Madison Avenue though. It was spicy, sexy, and oh so chaotic.

What a classic The Simpsons is. Who knew this show would be on the air for so flippin' long? We laughed for years and years, and we continue to laugh at all of the "D'ohs" and "Ay carambas!" along the way. This middle class family never fails to provide a great laugh when we need it the most and we are hoping for more in the future.

It was a short lived Netflix show, but an impactful one nonetheless. The world pretty much stopped in their tracks to watch this one because, for the first time, we had a female antihero. Jessica Jones was conflicted but she still stood for doing the right thing...for the most part. What was so great was that she felt so human while being so powerful at the same time.

Hannibal

Hannibal was about the infamous Hannibal Lecter and the years he was a psychiatrist. you know, those years before he got caught as a serial killer and a cannibal. Yikes. This show had a lot of deep, dark downs and really dove into Hannibal's secret life while also showing us the person he truly was...which was actually kind of surprising.

Homeland

Homeland was about the FBI and some of the crazy cases they had to follow in the Middle East as well as in The United States. Carrie, gets herself tied up in a relationship with a terrorist that she is ironically after, and she gets herself into a world of hurt because of it. Did I mention that she is Bipolar as well? Yeah, she is.

American Horror Story follows various plot lines every seasons with the same cast of characters playing different characters. Sound confusing? It isn't when you watch the show! Every plot has some kind of scary background behind it, and viewers usually guess what that plot is before the season premieres. How fun is that?

Dancing With The Stars is about a bunch of celebrities that are paired up with professional dancers and taught a bunch of choreography in hopes to win as the best dancer that season. Celebrity pairs are then voted off by the judges and the public each episode. It's pretty rough to learn the dances, but the celebrities seem to pull it off!

American Idol

American Idol is about a bunch of amateur singers looking to further their career by getting signed to a record label and having the backing and endorsements of celebrities. Singers compete through grueling competition while singing their hearts out in hopes of becoming the newest American Idol. Only one can make it to the end.

Like The Simpsons, South Park has been a long running cartoon comedy show that is made for adults. It is full of humor and ridiculous situations that surrounds four boys that are in the fourth grade. Pretty much all of the situations are ones you would say these kids shouldn't get into, but who am I to judge?

The Office is about a bunch of seemingly normal office workers who are being filmed for a documentary. Except these office employees have maybe the world's worst boss ever...or is he the world's best boss? You be the judge.
