No matter how much you like hockey, you are invited to take this quiz. Whether you are the biggest NHL fan or know nothing about the sport, chances are you'll still be able to name the characters we've listed here.

If you don't. Then there is a really good chance you have been living in a different era, far before this sport was even invented.

We are covering 1 player from almost every team. It is possible that they are from the past or present. Some of them have gone on to other work (like with the Player's Association), while others have gone on to coach.

Unfortunately, over time we have lost some legends, but they are legends nonetheless and we have included them in this quiz as well.

While this player is currently still playing in the NHL with the Minnesota Wild there is no doubt the team will retire his number when he retires.
