The show SpongeBob SquarePants is one of the oldest running series on Nickelodeon. The show has been on the air since 1999. It is still running today and is currently going through season twelve. Since the show has been on for twelve long seasons, there have been a ton of characters that have appeared on the air. Some of these characters are much more common, like the main few characters that are in every single one of the episodes and some of them are not very common and have only appeared in a handful of installments.
Since the show has been on the air for primarily the 00s, there are certain generations that may know of more characters than other generations.
