Only 1/20 WWE Fans Can Name These Attitude Era Wrestlers

It's hard to believe the Attitude Era began over 20 years ago, yet it feels like only yesterday the RAW is War intro graced our TV screens and seemingly cracked open the lid on the professional wrestling business.

Older wrestling fans often regard the Attitude Era as the last great moment in WWE history, a time in which the new PG era simply can't live up to. It was brash, rude, filthy, bloody, sexy, and hands down brilliant television writing which brought us back each week and kept our eyes glued to our low definition televisions to see how the seemingly endless and genius supply of story lines would play out. It was those few sweet years of wrestling which truly disguised the lines between fact and fiction, entertainment and reality.

If you grew up in the 90s and didn't know the Degeneration-X two word catch phrase, or if you didn't understand who or what Austin 3:16 represented, you were at an immediate disadvantage in terms of pop culture and were likely the practice dummy who got choke slammed on the mats during gym class.
