Grey’s Anatomy has been on the air for a whopping 15 seasons. The first season aired all the way back in 2005, while the 15th season is set to begin in September 2018. The five main characters on the show at the beginning were Dr. Meredith Grey, Dr. Cristina Yang, Dr. Alex Karev, Dr. George O’Malley, and Dr. Izzie Stevens. These five doctors began as interns, but they slowly made their way through the ranks as the seasons progressed. Now, out of those five, only Dr. Meredith Grey and Dr. Alex Karev remain. While they all worked on difficult surgeries throughout the seasons, all the characters also made their way in and out of relationships. For example, Dr. Derek Shepherd and Dr. Meredith Grey began an emotional relationship in the very first episode, while Dr. Cristina Yang and Dr. Preston Burke also started a romance early on. However, one of the best relationships on the show is the friendship between Cristina and Meredith, who have always loved each other through everything. Despite their differences, they helped each other through the most difficult of circumstances.

In this particular episode, Dr. George O’Malley and Dr. Izzie Stevens become close to passing, with Dr. O’Malley eventually passing after being hit by a bus. Izzie, on the other hand, survives her surgery and wakes up, despite having a very aggressive form of cancer. Dr. Meredith Grey also decides that she is going to marry Dr. Derek Shepard after he asked her a few episodes prior.

This quote is from Season 2 of Grey’s Anatomy. The quote was said in episode 8, which was called “Let It Be.” In fact, the episode aired way back on November 13, 2005. In this episode, Dr. Derek Shepherd and Dr. Addison Montgomery are trying to work on their marriage. Derek ran away from New York City after he found Addison having an affair, but Addison decided to follow him to Seattle to win him back. This quote is from Season 4 of Grey’s Anatomy. It is the 15th episode in the season, which is called “Losing My Mind.” In this episode, Dr. Meredith Grey is desperately trying to quit therapy because she does not enjoy it. Dr. Cristina Yang is having a difficult time because Dr. George O’Malley was made the Chief Intern, which obviously does not sit well with her. Dr. Mark Sloan and Dr. Izzie Stevens also become suspicious of a patient in the hospital.

This quote is from Season 10 of Grey’s Anatomy, specifically episode 15. The episode, which was titled “Throwing It All Away,” aired back on March 13, 2014. In this episode, the doctors get in trouble for fraternizing with one another. Everyone knows that there are doctor romances every now and again, but at this point in the show it has gotten out of hand. In fact, one of the doctors is temporarily suspended for something that occured with another doctor.

This quote is from the 10th season of Grey’s Anatomy. The episode, titled “Throwing It All Away,” is the 15th episode of the season. In this specific episode, Dr. Jo Wilson and Dr. Stephanie Edwards surprisingly find a baby in a trash can. They are able to take the baby to the hospital and they try to figure out what is wrong with it. Meanwhile, Dr. Jackson Avery tries to apologize to Stephanie Edwards after he left her at the altar for Dr. April Kepner.

This is another one of the most popular Grey’s Anatomy quotes of all time and it is frequently used. It is from Season 7, which both Dr. Meredith Grey and Dr. Cristina Yang were a part of. This quote was actually said during Season 10 Episode 24, which happened to be the season finale. It was a big moment in the show’s history because this was the last episode that starred Cristina Yang! Meredith and Cristina were forced to say goodbye to each other, as Cristina decided to take a new job in Switzerland.

Dr. Cristina Yang and Dr. Meredith Grey were very competitive with each other in the beginning of the series, but they quickly became best friends. In fact, they worked together on one of their very first cases back in Season 1. Though they are very different, they were always there for each other in the most difficult of times. While Cristina is super competitive and always wants to be on top, Meredith is a bit more focused on relationships and her love life.

This quote is from Season 10 of Grey’s Anatomy. This was from the 24th episode of the season, which happened to be the season finale. In this specific episode, all the doctors prepare to say goodbye to Dr. Cristina Yang as she departs for Switzerland to take a brand new job. There was also an explosion at one of the malls in Seattle, which means the hospital is packed with injured people. Not to mention, Derek asks Meredith to move to Washington D.C.

This quote is from the ninth season of Grey’s Anatomy. It is in the third episode of the season, which is titled “Love the One You’re With.” In this episode, the doctors of Seattle Grace Mercy West are forced to deal with the aftermath of the horrible plane crash that affected many doctors. In fact, Dr. Mark Sloan and Dr. Lexie Grey both tragically passed away in the plane crash, while Dr. Arizona Robbins lost one of her legs. The doctors also decide whether or not they want to settle their lawsuit with the airline.

This specific quote is from Season 3 of Grey’s Anatomy. In fact, it is from the season premiere, which aired on September 21, 2006. In this specific episode, every cast member remembers their past and how it has led them to where they are right now. Dr. Izzie Stevens is forced to deal with the passing of her fiancé, Denny Duquette and the repercussions of her quitting the intern program. Dr. Preston Burke is also healing after he was shot in the previous season.

This quote comes from Season 6 of Grey’s Anatomy. The doctors must prepare for this storm because there is a chance that they’ll receive an increase in patients or that they may lose power. This storm also affects Dr. Meredith Grey and her new baby. This quote is from the seventh season of Grey’s Anatomy. In fact, it is the premiere episode of the season called “With You I’m Born Again.” In this episode, the entire hospital tries very hard to get over the horrible trauma of the shooting that occurred last season. Two doctors tragically passed away in the shooting, while a number of doctors were severely injured, including Dr. Derek Shepherd and Dr. Alex Karev. Needless to say, it is a traumatic experience for everybody.

This quote is from the season 8 premiere episode of Grey’s Anatomy, which is called “Free Falling.” In this specific episode, which aired on September 22, 2011, Meredith, Alex, Cristina, April, Jackson and the others have returned for their fifth year of residency. Dr. April Kepner is the chief resident, so she spends time getting used to her new role in the hospital. Dr. Meredith Grey has to deal with the repercussions of tampering with her and Derek Shepherd’s Alzheimer's trial.

Meanwhile, Dr. Meredith Grey woke up with a feeling that she was going to pass away that day, but Dr. Cristina Yang forced her to get out of bed. And, to make matters even worse, Dr. Miranda Bailey’s husband was brought into the hospital.

This quote comes from Season 9 episode 24. It is actually part two of the season finale, which is called Perfect Storm. In this episode, a storm comes through Seattle, which of course leads to a serious increase in patients at the hospital. The hospital has lost power, so the doctors are forced to do their work in the dark. Meredith is also preparing to give birth to her second child, a little boy, during this crazy storm that has seriously rocked everybody at the hospital.

This specific quote is from the 13th episode of the third season called Great Expectation. In this episode, Dr. George O’Malley is grieving because his father sadly passed away in the previous episode. He is trying to go on with his life, but he is having a very hard time. In order to make himself feel better, he is spending a lot of time with Dr. Callie Torres. Dr. Izzie Stevens also feels badly for George and decides to bake a lot in the kitchen for him.
“I can do hot in my sleep. I look hot in scrubs. I’m a hot person.”
Both Dr. Cristina Yang and Dr. Meredith Grey are very confident people. They are not only confident in their abilities as doctors, they are also very confident in themselves as human beings. They know what they want and they go for it, no matter what. They also know that the male doctors at the hospital are interested in them. Between Meredith and Dr. Derek Shepherd and Cristina and Dr. Preston Burke, these two have a lot of fun times outside of the hospital.

This quote comes from Season 9 of Grey’s Anatomy. It was in the seventh episode of the season, which was called “I Was Made For Lovin’ You.” It aired on November 29, 2012. In this episode, Dr. Cristina Yang and Dr. Owen Hunt try to figure out their very complicated relationship. This particular quote is actually from a season finale episode of Grey’s Anatomy. This episode is one of the more emotional episodes for a variety of reasons. One of the main characters just passed a few episodes prior, so all of the doctors are struggling to move forward with their lives and with their patients. Other doctors are also going through serious personal turmoil, which eventually affects the rest of the group. Though it is a very heavy episode and one of the more emotional ones, there is hope.

Dr. Cristina Yang and Dr. Meredith Grey love to have fun. They work hard and they play hard, which can often make their lives a bit complicated. They spend a lot of their time at the bar across from the hospital, especially when they have had an especially hard day at the hospital. They also love to eat delicious food and spend time with one another away from the chaos of the hospital.

This quote is from an older episode of Grey’s Anatomy called “Hope for the Hopeless.” It is actually the twelfth episode of the eight season, which aired back in 2012. In this episode, Dr. Richard Webber’s wife, Adele, is brought into the hospital after somebody found her walking aimlessly on the streets. As it turns out, Adele has Alzheimer's. Dr. Derek Shepard and Dr. Lexie Grey team up together to work on a surgery, while Dr. Richard Webber performs his 10,000 surgery!

This quote is from Season 6 of Grey’s Anatomy. Dr. Meredith Bailey also has to prepare the doctors before a 700 pound patient is admitted to the hospital. Dr. Cristina Yang and Dr. Meredith Grey have to prove themselves a lot throughout the show. While they are extremely smart and know what they are doing, they have to often fight a lot of stereotypes because they are both beautiful and brilliant. While they fall in love with a variety of men throughout their time on the show, they are also amazing surgeons. It then becomes difficult for them to balance both their personal life and their professional life, all at the same time.
