Who Can Name All These Classic Pokémon?

Pokemon is iconic on all levels. It's one of the longest-running animes, animated shows, and TV shows in existence. With over twenty seasons in existence, thousands of cards created for its Trading Card Game, and over one hundred video games for gaming consoles worldwide, Pokemon is an inescapable phenomenon for fans of any ages.

But there was a time where Pokemon was simply a TV show based on a series of popular Game Boy games; a time when there were only 151 Pokemon to keep track of; a time in which Pokemon was just about good ole' Saturday Morning Cartoons, getting together with friends to play the card game (which at the time was pretty forward), and where naming every Pokemon was a piece of cake. For one, the end of each episode helped with a friendly reminder through the "PokeRap."

For those who grew up with the show, these classic Pokemon are second-nature to them. From Pikachu, Charmander, Nidoking, Magikarp, Electrobuzz, Machoke, Arbok, Venusaur, Taurus, Muk, Ratata, Ratticate, Wartortle, Abra, Jolteon, and so on and so on, naming these Pokemon's every detail is something they can outdo newer generations of fans on without hesitation.
