Think back to your childhood. Even if you didn't watch a lot of television, you were probably familiar with some of the popular fictional canines that littered cartoons and merchandise. Their smiling faces were all the rage with kids. Characters like Scooby Doo, Snoopy, and Goofy appeared on clothing, food items, and accessories. You might have even seen a few Lassie items here and there.
There is just something so amazing about owning a dog. They're loyal, affectionate, brave, and a slew of other things. They have admirable qualities (that most people don't even have sometimes!). The more you think about it, the more you realize that some fictional dog characters would make much better friends than your fellow humans. We're only kidding (partially)!
