For a child of the '90s, there was nothing better than Nickelodeon's line-up of Nicktoons. Shows like Hey Arnold!, Rugrats, and Ren and Stimpy dominated the airwaves, and the channel itself turned into something of a phenomenon. The channel showed no signs of slowing down as the decades progressed: series like Spongebob Squarepants, The Fairly Odd Parents, Rocket Power, Danny Phantom, and Avatar: The Last Airbender helped them continue to stay relevant even as their original shows went out of style. Today, the company is still going strong with a mix of their own original programming as well as revivals of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Power Rangers.
But let's be honest here, nothing holds a candle to early '90s to mid-2000s Nickelodeon! The Nicktoons of this time have become a hot-button topic in the world of nostalgia; Rocko's Modern Life and Hey Arnold! are both getting sequels in the form of movies, while Spongebob and The Fairly Odd Parents are still going strong as a regular program on the channel.
