Thanksgiving has passed and now the most wonderful time of the year is upon us: Christmas! 'Tis the season to be jolly, go Christmas shopping, drink hot cocoa, sing carols, make snowmen, and of course, watch your favorite Christmas movies. When it comes to romantic Christmas movies, they tend to be sappy and not that great. Except for one, Love Actually. A favorite of Christmas-lovers everywhere, the 2003 holiday rom-com stars an ensemble of big names and tells the story of several people in London during Christmas and their intertwining love stories.
In Love Actually, there are weddings, people falling in love, people falling out of love, people being cheated on, and so much more going on. The major couples are David and Natalie, John, and Judy, Sam and Joanna, and Jamie and Aurelia, all who have their own ups and downs in their relationships. Also featured are those in the love triangles, which include Harry, Karen, and Mia; Peter, Mark, and Juliet; and Sarah, Karl, and Michael. That is a lot of love for one movie!

For the most part, people seem to dislike airports. They are crowded, you have to go through security, and you are supposed to be there super early, just in case (but usually you end up just sitting there). But in Love Actually, it is pointed out that they are also places to witness love, and that is very true.

One of the newer Christmas trends is ugly Christmas sweaters. You can buy them at Target, Walmart, the mall, practically anywhere (and they are pretty damn ugly). What is your Christmas wish?
We all want something for Christmas. In the case of Karen from Love Actually, she just wanted her husband to love and pay attention to her. So when she found a necklace he had bought ad gift-wrapped, she got excited, but was then heartbroken when it turned out he had bought it for his assistant, Mia.
What is most awkward in a relationship?
Along with the excitement a new relationship brings comes the inevitable awkward moments. If you go on a traditional first date that ends on the doorstep, for you the first awkward moment might be whether or not you will share a goodnight kiss. But there are plenty more to follow. It goes without saying that romance movies are full of over-the-top romantic gestures, and Love Actually is no different. But where other rom-coms get a little too cheesy, Love Actually managed to keep its sweeping romantic gestures realistic and endearing. Which was your favorite?

Some people don't like to go on dates, at all, no matter where they take place (looking at you, men). But most people- and especially most women- enjoy going out on dates. And there are so many great places to go that are romantic. Where do you like to go on dates?

Sometimes the very best thing to do with your significant other is not some over-the-top date or vacation, but simply sitting at home, cuddling on the couch, and watching a great movie. Especially at Christmas time by the fireplace and with the Christmas tree lights, nothing would be cozier (or more romantic).
Whose storyline could you most relate to in the movie?
There were like a million storylines going on in Love Actually, from Colin's trip to America to find babes, to Jamie falling in love with a girl who didn't speak the same language as him, to the Prime Minister falling for his secretary. To be very "vanilla" may or may not be an insult to you. It means that you are not very adventurous in the bedroom. It is not a bad thing, but some people might have a negative association with it in their heads.
Which was the best Love Actually pageant character?
In Love Actually, there is a big Christmas pageant attended by many of the characters. It is put on by the elementary school, and it is a creative take on the nativity story. It involves many creatures most people would never associate with Christmas, at all. Which crazy creature was your favorite?
