With the ultimate mission of Goku and his friends always to ensure the safety of the universe, the warriors of Dragon Ball spend pretty much every second they aren’t fighting training for the next one. The legendary Saiyan’s journey is generally split up into sagas named after his enemies, but each of these portions of his life also often introduce a new teacher, sensei, or master who inevitably give Goku a whole new bag of tricks for his latest and greatest battle.

Being the consummate warrior who can adapt to any style, Goku has received training from just about every person he meets or fights in one way or another. In turn, they’ve all learned plenty from him, with each battle an open close and personal crash course in the Super Saiyan’s abilities and techniques.
