With the ultimate mission of Goku and his friends always to ensure the safety of the universe, the warriors of Dragon Ball spend pretty much every second they aren’t fighting training for the next one. The legendary Saiyan’s journey is generally split up into sagas named after his enemies, but each of these portions of his life also often introduce a new teacher, sensei, or master who inevitably give Goku a whole new bag of tricks for his latest and greatest battle.
Being the consummate warrior who can adapt to any style, Goku has received training from just about every person he meets or fights in one way or another. In turn, they’ve all learned plenty from him, with each battle an open close and personal crash course in the Super Saiyan’s abilities and techniques. Of course, few of us are powerful enough to stand up against Goku just yet, so you might need a different sensei to break you in first.
The good news is that there are so many trainers and leaders in the Dragon Ball universe that there’s a memorable character out there for people of all skill levels. Even if you aren’t ready for Goku, there’s someone in his life who can get you on the right path to spar with the Saiyan, or maybe even help him out in the next big war. How often do you exercise?
If you’re going to join the DBZ warriors in their fight to save humanity, you’re going to need to start exercising a whole lot. Martial arts technique doesn’t mean a whole lot when there’s no actual power behind it, so lifting weights and running sprints are part of the process.
Where would you prefer to train?
Ultimately, the best place for a fighter to train is in an environment that closest matches where the fight most of their battles. For Goku and friends, this means the entire world is fair game, so it’s pretty much up to you where preparations begin. Which location would you choose?

One of the consistently coolest elements of Dragon Ball is the amazing skills and techniques each character uses in their battles. Quite frankly, most fans would be overjoyed to use any of them at all even for a day. If you could actually have one forever, what would it be?

Truth be told, despite spending the greater part of his life defending Earth, Goku doesn’t seem all that attached to it. While he and his friends are entirely concerned with the people on Earth, the idea of national pride or patriotism isn’t really relevant. Is it a factor for you?

By and large, the warriors of Dragon Ball choose to fight without the use of weapons unless absolutely necessary. Surprisingly, their enemies feel the same way, making it that much easier for you to take up arms against them after joining the fight. What would you use?

For as much effort and energy as Goku and friends put into saving the world, they don’t actually make a dime for doing so. Obviously, even with a steady supply of Senzu beans, this doesn’t exactly sound sustainable in the long term. How would you pay the bills?
How do you dress when not fighting?
When preparing for battle, the clothing a fighter wears can serve surprisingly important. For that reason, once the war is over, the warriors might choose to let loose with some wild fashion choices. Would you do that, or do you keep wearing your fighting gear year round?

Especially when the series began, the most prominent quality of Dragon Ball aside from the fighting was it’s humor. Even as the battles became matters of global and universal importance, Goku and friends can still crack a good joke in the right setting. Can you?

With the fate of the world constantly at their hands, Goku and his friends rarely have much time to relax. Therefore, in the rare cases when they can simply lie down and forget about their troubles, they tend to do so in epic manner. How do you chill out?

While the villains Goku encountered later in life tend to be more memorable, those he met as a child were far more integral to his development as a child. Not to say they weren’t plenty memorable as well, with some so great Goku turned them into friends.
What’s your biggest weakness as a fighter?
Nobody’s perfect, especially at fighting, and as a guy who died in battle two or three times, that clearly includes Goku. The catch is that he always gets up and keeps fighting no matter how hard he fell down. Are you the same, or do these problems knock you out?
Who is your favorite comic book hero?
Right down to the way he’s drawn, Goku is more parts comic book hero than traditional anime star. Despite being an alien, few fighters better represent the concepts of truth, justice, and the American way, except, of course, actual heroes from comic books. Can any of these beat Goku?
Do you have or want children?
Theoretically speaking, parents mellow a bit when they have kids, but this wasn’t the case for Goku or Vegeta, nor any of their friends. If anything, having kids made them fight harder, both to protect and train their offspring. Could you go down the same path?

For many years, fans of Dragon Ball had to rely on memories of old fights to satisfy their bloodlust. Finally, Akira Toriyama brought back his most popular creation with Dragon Ball Super, finding all new monsters for Goku and friends to battle. Which one is your favorite?
Do you enjoy reading manga?
As most fans of Dragon Ball Z surely know, the manga was being written concurrently to the series. By and large, the stories in the series and manga are the same, yet some fans will always prefer the written word to the cartoons.
Do you consider yourself a risk taker?
In Dragon Ball, push comes to shove on an almost daily basis, forcing every one of Goku’s friends to make outrageously risky moves now and then. You’re life probably isn’t so hectic, but it will start to be if you train with them. Can you handle the constant risks?
Do you ever give to charity?
Having spent their entire lives defending the universe and never making a single dime for it, Goku and friends can’t exactly give to charity in the traditional sense. That said, what they do is a charity in and of itself. Do you ever give back in any way?

Just like the heroes of Dragon Ball are very similar to comic book heroes, the villains they battle could square off against Superman or Batman without anyone blinking an eye. Okay, someone like Emperor Pilaf only works in Dragon Ball, but you get the idea. Anyway, who’s your favorite villain?
Which Dragon Ball GT saga do you like the best?
Tucked in between Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super, there was a lesser viewed series called Dragon Ball GT, offering further adventures of Goku and his friends. Though a little less popular than the other shows, GT nonetheless had it’s charms. What was your favorite era of the show?
Do you like video games?
Taking place in a world where everyone is one of the greatest fighters ever to live, it was only a matter of time before Dragon Ball turned into a video game. At this point, there have been literally dozens of them, each with their distinct charms. Have you played any?
Do you forgive and forget?
Everyone in life makes mistakes, and if they’re surrounded by the right people, they’ll be forgiven for them in due time. Unfortunately, not everyone is “the right people,” and some hold grudges forever. Do you move on from past errors, or do you dwell on them forever?

Practically speaking, all a real fighter would need is a single technique from the Dragon Ball universe to be literally the best MMA competitor in history. To possess them all is so unrealistic it’s almost funny, yet that’s the power of a true Super Saiyan. Pick one of his abilities.
On what planet would you rather live?
As humans, the only option we have is to live on the planet Earth…at least for now. Regardless of any future scientific adventures mankind may find, the Dragon Ball crew already found a few more inhabitable planets throughout their universe. What’s your favorite?
Are you fighting for good or evil?
Such is the power of Goku that even the most evil entities he encounters inevitably wind up on the side of good when he teaches them what’s for. You can go ahead and answer you’re evil if you’d like, but Goku will beat the goodness into you soon enough.
Which time of day do you prefer to train?
Ultimately, it doesn’t matter which time of day a fighting is training so long as they stick to their discipline and increase their skill. That said, almost every warrior will have some preference about the right time to start and finish an exercise. When are you at your peak?
What would you wish for with the Dragon Balls?
Typically, when Goku and his friends gather the Dragon Balls, it’s to revive someone who died protecting them. Hopefully, you won’t be in that situation if you ever gather the seven legendary orbs together yourself and call forth Shenron or Porunga. What would you wish for instead?
