Created by Raphael Bob-Waksberg, Bojack Horseman is an absurd and surreal animated Netflix series with talking animals and humans as characters. It was originally released in August of 2014 and, following the first few episodes, critics had a somewhat unfavorable view of the series, criticizing it for being no more than an average animated show that relies too heavily on animal-related puns. However, as the first season progressed, the show dives deeper into real issues such as depression and self-destructive behavior, primarily led by the titular character, Bojack Horseman, a former TV star who is well beyond his prime and spiraling out of control.

Now four seasons deep with a contract renewal for a fifth season, the show has become one of the most critically-acclaimed animated series. While it can be dark and depressing at times, it's also packed with punchlines and memorable running gags. It's also helped along by an all-star voice-over cast including Will Arnett (Bojack), Paul F. Tompkins (Mr. Peanutbutter), Aaron Paul (Todd Chavez), and Amy Sedaris (Princess Carolyn), and Alison Brie (Diane Nguyen) among others. Each character is incredibly complex and deals with real-life issues not often seen in animated shows, but in very different ways. Which of the above characters are you like?
