What's Your Personality Type? Take The Myers-Briggs Test To Find Out

Have you ever wondered why it seems like some people just seem to fit together or why you can tell what a person will like based on how they dress or the music they listen to? Well, there could be some science behind this and in fact, we can help you find out who you are with just a few easy questions about yourself.

In this simplified quiz, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator will measure your personality based on how you respond to questions about yourself. It takes several aspects of you into account including your mind, energy, nature, and tact. Mother and daughter duo Katharine Cook Briggs and Isabel Briggs Meyers built this self-report questionnaire based on Carl Jung's theory that there four principle psychological functions that outline how humans experience the world.

Your personality will fall into one of several categories depending on where you rank on different scales like introverted/extroverted. This test narrows the categories from sixteen to four: Analyst, Diplomat, Sentinel, or Explorer. These categories should reflect your goals and how you approach them. This quiz won't measure whether you're an introvert or extrovert, but most of us already know which we are anyways.

What's your personality type? Take the Myers-Briggs test to find out!

Question 1

Your definitive character trait in one word

What personality trait shines through everything else? This trait might define the things you are interested in. Do you like putting things together and watching how mechanisms work? Or are you the glue that keeps your social group together? Perhaps you're the pragmatic organized one? If it helps, ask your friends what they think you are.

Question 2

Are you comfortable meeting new people?

Some people make very good first impressions. Usually this is because they like to meet new people and share things about themselves. After all, it opens the door to new perspectives. Others are less socially motivated. They might prefer to keep a small friend circle and work on their projects in peace. If someone invited you to a stranger's party, would you go?

Question 3

Do you prefer to plan out your days or do you just let things happen?

Some people can pick up tasks from right and left and complete them in whatever order. They improvise and are flexible to changes. Then there are some who are more "type A". Question 8

Is having a plan more important than being flexible?
