Friends was a huge sitcom that ran for ten seasons on NBC. The show revolved around a group of six friends, living in New York City. The show covered hardships like money issues, job issues, friend and family issues, and most of all, relationship drama. The six friends had their fair share of relationships throughout the series. It takes time for each of them to find the person they are supposed to be with. Although, one of the characters is not paired off by the end of the series. As for the five others, they are all in relationships or are married by the last episode.
Because the show ran for so long, and there were so many relationships that were displayed, there are a ton of characters that came and went. Pretty much everyone can name the main characters, which includes the main six. As for the other characters, that may have only appeared for an episode or two, it would take more of a superfan to accurately name them. Which Friends Character is This?
This woman is one of the main Friends in the group. There are six of them, and three are women. She is known for her need for things to be orderly and neat. She is also a total control freak, which helps her and Chandler get along because he is pretty mellow and goes along with what she wants on a regular basis. This woman works in several restaurants across the series, primarily as a chef or the head chef. She dates a few different men, one serious relationship she had was with Richard. By the end of the series, she is a mom and a wife, which was what she wanted for so long.

This man is a Paleontologist, who works in the Museum of Natural History at the start of the series, but then gets a teaching position a few seasons in. He is one of the six Friends. He is the older brother of Monica, and is the more dorky person in the group. This character is one of the six Friends. He lives across the hall from Rachel and Monica, with his best friend Joey. This is the funny character on the show. This character needs to be with someone who challenges her, and so she begins to date Ross for some time, but they do not end up working out.

Then, she meets this character. He has no experience, but she thinks that he is very handsome and wants to have him work for her. She hires him, and he is not that great of an assistant. He is forgetful, but she does not really care. The two of them begin to date, even though it is frowned upon at the office. They do not make it though, because he is much younger than her.

It is not revealed right away, but one of the six main characters has a twin sister. Phoebe, has a twin that is present in a few episodes. The two of them do not really get along, and we meet her when Phoebe is trying to find out some more information about her birth mother. This sister works as a waitress in a restaurant that the Friends do not usually go to. Joey meets her, and actually is interested. The two of them start to date, and Joey really starts to fall for her. This makes Phoebe uncomfortable, but all is well as they do not make it anyway.

They do tell her the truth, and she is furious. After some talking though, she decides that she wants to let them adopt her baby. They go through all of the motions and Monica and Chandler prepare for the adventure of parenthood. When she is close to giving birth, they fly her to New York City. In the hospital, it is revealed that she is pregnant with twins!

This woman actually stole the identity of one of these girls from the series. She used her identity to get credit cards, and used those credit cards for all sorts of wild activities. These including dance lessons, art supplies, and other things that the person whose identity she stole, is too afraid to do on her own. The woman who had her identity stolen, tracks the thief down and spends some time with her. They even do activities together, such as a dance class. That is until she calls the police and has the entire situation resolved the right way.

Throughout the entire series, Phoebe is desperate to find out where she came from. She never got a chance to meet her father when she was growing up, and her mother took her own life when Phoebe was pretty young. She never had a family besides her sister, Ursula, and even that wasn't like a real family. After tracking down her birth mother, Phoebe finds out the truth about her dad. She goes to his house, and finds out that she actually has a brother! This character is that brother, he is not very smart, but he is funny and definitely cares about his sister.

This character was one of Rachel's best friends before she moved to the city. When Rachel was meant to get married to Barry, this woman was her maid of honor. The two women did not see each other for a long time, and Rachel hadn't really thought about her until she saw the engagement announcement in the paper. She found out that this woman, her old best friend, is supposed to marry Barry. Now, Rachel is pretty much over Barry, but she still has one last fling with him before he says 'I do.' This character even asks Rachel to be in the bridal party!

This woman is the cousin of both Monica and Chandler. She is not introduced for a few seasons and only appears in one episode. She comes into town and is supposed to stay with Monica and Chandler. This character gets uncomfortable very quickly though, because Chandler keeps staring at her. Then, she goes to stay with Ross. Low and behold, Ross does the same thing. But, she thinks he is just imitating his friend. After a weird night and a bottle of wine, she decides to pack up to get the heck out of the city and get away from both of these guys.

We see this character in several episodes. He lives in the apartment below Rachel and Monica. He constantly complains to them that they are too loud, and that they stomp their feet. They had no idea how true this was until later. When Marcel, Ross' monkey went missing, this character was holding on to him and nearly refused to give him up. Then in a later episode, he passes away. He leaves everything in the apartment to Monica and Rachel, which ends up being a curse because he held onto literally everything. They spend an entire day going through his things, and actually start to feel a little sad for him.

This leads to Rachel having to force Chandler to call and ask her to go out on a date again, this continues a couple more times before Chandler finally ends it all.

Eventually Ross finds out about Rachel's feelings, and leaves this character behind.

His parents are split up, and he does not really speak to either of them on a regular basis. His mother, this character, is a famous author. Even Rachel is a fan of her books. But when she comes into town, Chandler tends to get anxious and weird. She is convinced that she was an excellent mother, that was cooler than other moms. Chandler would agree, as his childhood led to his humor being a coping mechanism, and constant embarrassment at the hands of his mom.

This character is the father of Elizabeth, the student that Ross dates briefly in the show. He is a widow, and when he meets Ross he also meets the entire gang of friends. Rachel takes a liking to this man, and the two of them actually go out a few times. They all go on a double date, where Rachel shares a little more than she should, and this character begins to like Ross a little less. He never really cared for him, but as he and Elizabeth date, he starts to really dislike Ross and wants him out of his daughter's life.

Chandler has this problem, when he has a little too much fun at his party and does not remember that this character is the one that he kissed!
