The Twilight franchise is one of the biggest ones that have come about in pop culture. When the author Stephanie Meyer, first wrote the series she never imagined that it would turn into a whole movement. This was the first thing that was about vampires that became super popular and once people got a taste of it, or should we say a bite, they couldn't get enough of these dark and mysterious creatures. Edward was a pretty old vampire that had tried his best to keep to himself but once he laid eyes on Bella he knew that everything was about to change.
Bella was a normal human girl who was trying her best to blend in and get through high school. When she met Edward everything that she once thought was true was put to the test and she was introduced to an entire world that she never knew existed. She was never the same after meeting Edward. Bella was able to come out of her shell a little bit more and Edward opened up in a way that he had never been able to with anyone else. In the end they were meant for each other and ended up spending eternity together.
Why does Bella go to Seattle with her friends?
When Bella first starts at Forkes High School she plans on skating by as undercover as possible. She never imagines that she will actually make friends and even hang out with them outside of school. However she makes a couple of good friends and pretty soon after she moves there she ends up going to Seattle with them on a weekend. Some craziness ensues once she leaves them for a bit but Edward of course comes by to save the day.

Edward and Bella may be far from normal but their wedding and honeymoon is actually pretty normal, despite all of the vampire guests or course. They embark on a pretty long honeymoon so that they can truly enjoy their first couple of weeks as husband and wife. Bella was still human at this point and Edward was intent on keeping it that way. However all Bella wanted to do was talk about her turning into a vampire, among other things.
Why does Edward want to expose himself to the humans?
Edward is one who follows the rules, no matter what he doesn't like to color outside of the lines or try much of anything that may get him in trouble. However in the second movie he attempts to do something that he knows will result in the ultimate punishment by the Volturi. He plans to expose himself to humans in the sun so that they will know he is not human. However Bella is able to get to him before he actually does this.

Bella's stepfather is a minor league baseball player who spends most of his time on the road. For a while Bella and her mom were tagging along but during the week they had to stay home of course because Bella had school. Bella felt guilty that her mother was missing out on traveling with her husband which is the reason that she decided to move in with her dad. However shortly after she moved to Forkes her mother moved and settled somewhere.

James is the main antagonist in the first movie. He is basically a nomad who travels around wrecking havoc on innocent peoples lives, just for fun. Why does Edward not want to change Bella?
Edward loves Bella and would do anything for her, there is no denying that as he has proven it over and over again. However whenever the subject comes up about her turning into a vampire like him he quickly changes it or denies that he would ever let it happen. Bella cant wait to be a vampire so that they can live out eternity together however Edward is a bit more hesitant about changing Bella into what he is for a very specific reason.
Who attacks Bella at her birthday party?
Bella is never one to like the attention on her, therefore she is not a big fan of her birthday. Alice on the other hand is always looking for an excuse to throw a party and celebrate so when she finds out that Bella's birthday is coming up she couldn't be any more excited to plan a little shin ding. Victoria was featured a little bit in the first and second movies but mainly in the third movie. She was intent on getting rid of the Cullen Coven and even created an entire army to make sure that they met their demise. Little did she know that they were ready for her and she was unable to carry out her plan. But why is this nomadic vampire so intent on destroying the Cullen's who don't really hurt or bother with anyone?
Who happened to Laurent?
Laurent was another vampire who was traveling with Victoria and James. In the first movie he did his best to avoid and sort of conflict with the Cullen's and even warned them that James was on their trail. He seemed to have turn over a new leaf but in the second movie, New Moon, he met his demise. One of the girls from the Denali Coven were dating him and when she lost him she was devastated and refused to accept it.
Why does the Volturi come for the Cullen's in the last movie?
The Volturi is basically the government of the vampire community as they are in charge of making sure that everyone follows the rules and does what they are suppose to. They take a little to much pleasure in delivering punishments and are almost never fair, this however does not stop them from ruling and basically doing whatever they want. In the last movie they come for the Cullen's with a giant group of "witnesses" to make sure that they are doing everything by the book.

Alice is another one from the Cullen family that has a special ability. Not all vampires are gifted with special abilities when they are turned but some are and they just make them that more valuable in the vampire world. Alice is a member of the Cullen family but Aro from the Volturi is intent on getting her to join his court. Jacob is not a bad guy, despite how he is portrayed in a couple of different scenes. Jacob is very dedicated to his pack as soon as he understands what it means to be apart of one. At first he is reluctant and gives up his spot as alpha but over time he realizes that he really does want to lead. He ends up breaking away from Sam and most of the other wolves to form his own pack with Seth and Leah. Eventually they are able to mend their differences and become one giant pack that is very powerful.
Why does Aro change his mind at the end of the last movie?
Aro is power hungry and loves to be in control of everything and everyone. As a result he is dying to get Alice and Edward on his court so that he will be even more powerful. However they are dedicated to their family and have refused for a long time to even consider joining Aro and the rest of them. At the end of the movie Aro is intent on destroying the Cullen Coven in order to force the two of them to join him.

Bella loves her daughter from the moment that she feels her move inside of her. She defends her to her dying breathe and even when her pregnancy is literally destroying her she refuses to give up the baby inside of her. Bella has a plan in place for her daughter in case something goes wrong and Aro refuses to listen to reason. She wants to make sure that she will get the chance to live a normal life and not have to live in fear that someone is going to come for her. Bella knows that if something goes wrong her and Edward will not be able to be with their daughter and she entrusts Jacob with making sure that she gets to safety.

Alice is one of the smartest members of the Cullen family as she is always thinking ahead and trying to plan out every possible scenario in her head. Why does Rosalie hate Bella?
Rosalie is the hardest of the Cullen's to get to know as she has a bit of an attitude and tends to keep to herself. Despite this Bella continues to try to make things right between the two of them and it is not until the third movie that she finally finds out why Rosalie acts the way that she does. After that they have more of an understanding with each other and even begin to form a friendship after a while.

Bella is a bit impulsive when it comes to Edward and has been since the moment that she met him.
