It wasn't just any teen romance to swoon over, however, as it quickly captivated fans with it's relatable, moody protagonist, Bella Swan, and her sultry, misunderstood vampire boyfriend, Edward Cullen. It's a love story that had everyone wishing their boyfriend was vampire (or at least secretly wishing they were Bella Swan).

Not only was their relationship iconic, but the impact both the books and movies had on the fans of the pop culture phenomenon was one for the record books. What do you say? Were you a diehard Twilight fan? Was Twilight your life? Prove it and take the quiz below! Note: This quiz only pertains to the first book/movie in the series.

Question 1

What does a "vegetarian" vampire consume?

It seems a little ironic that a vampire could be considered a vegetarian, well, considering every vampire story every told, but it's a prominent storyline in both the novel and the film. If a human vegetarian doesn't eat meat, what is a vampire eating? Are they even remotely close? Do they have a special vampire-vegetarian menu at restaurants these days? Of course, the people of Forks could never understand the "delicate" diet of even a normal vampire, let along a vegetarian vampire.

Question 2

What is Carlisle Cullen's profession?

When you've been alive for hundreds of years it only makes sense to pick up a few skills. Vampires like the Cullen family aim to keep a low profile in order to live among the humans in the communities the reside in. This includes doing boring human things like going to high school and getting a job. What kind of job can a vampire even get without drawing too much attention to themselves? We are going to assume that owning a bat farm is out of the question.

Question 3

Who directed the Twilight film?

It takes a lot of skill and determination to direct a film, let alone direct a film adapted from a best selling novel. If you take that level of literary success, however, and combine it with an uber talented feature film director, you're going to end up with a box office hit. And that's exactly what happened with Twilight - it created a cinematic phenomenon and started to ever popular fantasy saga we have grown to love (and totally fangirl over).

Question 4

What is Alice Cullen's special abliity?

When a human becomes a vampire they automatically pick up a few supernatural skills, which will com totally natural to them. Beauty, speed, and a taste for blood just to name a few. Some vampires, such as Alice Cullen, are "born" with special abilities that they can use on humans and vampires alike. This often comes in handy when you're escaping evil nomadic vampires or running into a group of thugs while picking out prom dresses. What more could a modern day vampire ask for?

Question 5

What fruit is on the cover of the original novel?

There hasn't been a more iconic piece of fruit than that featured on the front of Stephenie Meyer's novel, Twilight. Could it possibly be a brilliant reference to a theme in the novel, or just one of Meyer's favorite fruits to snack on while she was writing. That's something only a true fan of the saga will know. Perhaps she was even alluding to the strange vampire vegetarian diet. Of course, no one should ever judge a book by the cover.

Question 6

What prize does Bella win in biology?

Teachers try their best to keep students interested. Keeping the curriculum both up to date and relatable to teens is no easy challenge, but one biology teacher goes the extra mile to make sure his students feel... rewarded. When Bella proves to be the most knowledgable in her biology class her teacher gives her a rather questionable prize as an award. She accepts the award with grace (in our opinion) and even carries it throughout the halls after class. Do you remember what it was?

Question 7

What sport does the Cullen family enjoy?

Nothing brings vampires together like a mutual taste for blood. Just kidding (well not really). Although this is something that most vampires can bond over, the Cullen family enjoys a more athletic pastime. That's right! These modern day vampires aren't just good looking, but they put their supernatural strength and speed for some good old fashioned family fun - but only when stormy weather permits. Talk about a fantasy team lineup! The Cullen family knows how to really let loose.

Question 8

What song do Bella and Edward listen to in his room?

There's nothing more awkward than when your crush visits your house for the first time. Embarrassing family members, awkward childhood photos all over the place, it can be a total nightmare. Luckily for Bella, Edward knows how to keep his cool... even when Bella notices that Edward's bedroom is in fact missing a bed. Why? Vampires don't sleep. Like, ever. That might be a little weird to a human visiting for the first time, but they do enjoy listening to music. In fact, Bella and Edward have a mutual appreciation for classical music.

Question 9

What kind of vehicle does Bella's father buy her?

A right of passage in any relatable teenager's life is learning how to drive a car. When you live in middle-of-nowhere Forks, Washington, it's practically a necessity. Most teens wouldn't know how to respond to a vehicle with such personality, but Bella is more than grateful. Sure, it's a used vehicle and a little rusty around the edges, but it gets her to school on time.

Question 10

What is the beach in Twilight called?

The Cullen family arranged a treaty with the Quileutae tribe many years ago to keep the peace. Jacob Black doesn't admit that the Cullen's are actually vampires, but we can obviously assume that's the reason why. Anyway, with the treaty comes with land restrictions. No worries, swimming doesn't seem like Edward's choice of activity, but Bella and her friends are totally down to visit the beach.

Question 11

After all, her name is Bella, and that's Italian, right?

Question 12

Is Forks, Washington a real town?

Does this place even exist? Anything is possible when you're making up a story.

Vampires weren't just created yesterday (actually, most of them were created literally hundreds of years ago), which has allowed them to create and follow many different values and traditions in the vampire world. Which one of the following is not a Cullen?

Sure, the Cullen family has a lot of members, but no one is actually biologically related. We're serious! Question 18

Who almost hit Bella with a car?

Yikes! If there's anything more dramatic than teen romance it's teen road rage. Well, it was probably an accident for whoever almost hit Bella with their car in the school parking lot.
