Even though The Vampire Diaries ended in 2017 after eight seasons, we still totally miss it. There are a ton of other awesome shows that are currently airing, but that doesn't mean that we don't find ourselves going back to Netflix to watch the drama of Mystic Falls and see Damon Salvatore's dreamy blue eyes win over everyone in the historic city for the 200 years that he's lived there. Ugh, we can't blame anyone who falls for him. It's hard not to miss the show, but luckily we can totally go re-watch old episodes and see all our favorite couples and characters again like the show never ended.

Okay, maybe not just like those since those doppelgangers usually showed up to cause some serious trouble, but at least it made for some seriously interesting TV! Even though the title of the series The Vampire Diaries would lead you to believe that it's solely about vampires, the show has a few other supernatural creatures lurking around as well. Vampires aren't alone in Mystic Falls since they have werewolves and witches to accompany them in the historic town.

As cute as the couples on The Vampire Diaries and The Originals are, we can't forget that there are other even cuter couples connected to the show. That's right, some of the actors and actresses on the show have dated each other in real life too! And we were just as sad to see their relationships end as we were to see their characters break up.

Rebekah Mikaelson was introduced to The Vampire Diaries with the rest of her siblings, the Mikaelson family which made up the original vampires. Unlike some of the other vampires, Rebekah often wished that she could have a normal life and not be immortal like her siblings. Did you like Rebekah?

Is there anything more fun than going on an awesome road trip with your best friends? It's always great to get in the car with some good friends, turn on some good music, and eat junk food while you're on the road until you arrive at your destination.
