The Twilight series starts off with teenage Bella moving to the rainy, dark, and cold town of Forks with her father. It’s here that he tells her that he and his family are moving on from Forks and that she’s not welcome to join them. Her father calls a search party because she didn’t return home, but luckily one of the werewolves found her before anything could hurt her. For months afterward Bella is in a zombie-like state.

After weeks pass on their honeymoon, Bella is wondering why she hasn’t gotten her period since their arrival. To her and Edward’s horror, she learns that she is pregnant. Despite it being rare among vampire and human relationships – like one in a million rare – Carlisle confirms it is possible. Eventually, by the end of the series Bella finally gets her way and becomes a vampire.

Many of the Cullen vampires have special powers in addition to their immortal life. Edward is able to read the minds of anyone around him; Alice is capable of seeing glimpses of “potential futures.” That being, she sees the current path to the future however it can be altered if someone changes their mind or if they are influenced different. Even Jasper has a special power which allows him to persuade someone’s emotion, which Bella discovers when she agrees to let Alice throw her a party.
Why do Bella and Jacob fight after she sees her daughter for the first time?
After Bella and Edward’s baby is born safely and Rosalie runs off to take care of her, Edward and Jacob stay back to make sure Bella makes it out alive. Unfortunately, the pregnancy took a massive toll on her body – nearly breaking her bones and making her weak beyond saving. Jacob says that it’s time for her to turn into a vampire or else she’ll be lost to them forever. Edward gives her his venom, but she is unresponsive. At least – for a short while. Eventually, she is reborn into a vampire.

Edward despises the child that is growing inside of Bella mostly because it’s causing her so much pain and its threatening her life. Alice feels the same way – often referring to their unborn child as a “fetus” about which Rosalie angrily corrects her, saying that it’s a baby. Edward tries to persuade Bella to give up the child before she gets killed but she refuses, having already felt a connection with their child. And then suddenly, he is able to as well – with each passing day the baby grows more and eventually Edward can read their child’s thoughts: and his love becomes unconditional for her.
What is Bella’s vampire power?
As it was said before, the vampire’s inherit special abilities a part from their actual vampirism. More of these powers are discovered as they introduce new vampires in the last installment of the series. For example, Zafrina who is from the Amazon coven can create illusions in a person’s mind and make them see whatever they want them to see. Benjamin, from the Egyptian coven has the ability to manipulate nature in all forms, including water and fire. Bella did not even learn of her special gift until she started to meet these other vampires.

After the Cullen family learn that the Volturi are planning to get rid of Renesmee, they start to scramble to try and figure out different ways to create peace rather than have to fight the Volturi army. Carlisle turns to his long list of vampire friends to act as his witness to protect his adoptive granddaughter against the brutality of the Volturi. However, not all of the Cullen’s are actively participating in this witness list. Out of nowhere, Jasper and Alice leave and don’t tell anyone where they’ve gone. The only one who receives a clue is Bella, most likely because her mind is the only one that’s safe.

Bella, Renesmee and Jacob are out in the snow enjoying the weather and just being in each other’s company. Renesmee is continuing to grow and develop as a vampire – including her impressive jumping skills. On this snowy day, one of the distant cousins of the Cullen family stumble upon the three and fear the worst. Before Bella has a chance to explain, the cousin went straight to the Volturi to report the vile thing she witnessed. With Renesmee’s life on the line, the family band together to try and convince the Volturi she’s not what they think.

As it has been said before, Jacob has glaringly obvious feelings for Bella, which he tells her in the very first film. He attempts to win her affections over the disgusting vampire named Edward – mostly because of their long history of family feuds. But, despite Bella loving Jacob her heart belongs to Edward. They more or less remain friends even though they do share some awkward moments when Jacob tries to persuade her to be with him and not the soulless vampire.
What sentimental value does Bella’s engagement ring hold?
When Bella finally tells Jacob that her heart is always going to belong to Edward, and that she’ll always choose him first, Edward finally sees that her love is real for him – as are her words for wanting to be with him for all eternity. He breaks all communication with her; including her friendship with his adoptive sister Alice. Bella takes his disappearance very hard, falling into depression and it breaks her father’s heart in the process. Eventually she gets back out in the world and hangs around Jacob, whose pack sort of looks out for her now that the vampires are gone. But Edward fears her sadness will cause her to hurt herself, and when Jacob tells him he’s planning a funeral Edward assumes it’s for her.
At the end of the last movie, what does Bella show Edward in their meadow?
The ending of the franchise involves Bella and Edward peacefully laying in their meadow – enjoying the beginning of their eternal lives together. They had been through so much since the first film. Bella being kidnapped and nearly turned by the vampire James; Bella nearly being killed by Jasper after she cuts herself and the entire Cullen family move away from her; Bella choosing between her best friend Jacob and Edward – to which she obviously chose Edward; graduation, marriage and even childbirth.
