There is no shortage of interesting characters on television. Many of whom happen to have a supernatural element to them. From Buffy The Vampire Slayer, to Angel, to Supernatural, these are some of the most interesting shows ever aired. So how well do you know these characters and what they are? People with extraordinary heritage and power that protect us from the enemies unknown that walk next to us, fighting wars that we do not even know that are being fought in Heaven, Hell, Earth, and even high school. Although I'm sure we can all agree they can kind of just let high schools be destroyed ( nobody likes them anyway). Vampires, Angels, Demons, and Werewolves that look at us mere humans as nothing more than a slight inconvenience. But over and over, sometimes a simple human is able to step up to the plate, and be just as dangerous as some centuries old blood sucker. So who is human? Who is a vampire? Who is a werewolf? Or maybe something more? Maybe they are an Angel who is more human than they realize? Or maybe they are just a demon who wants to watch the world burn? Take this quiz to test your knowledge.
What kind of being is Castiel?
James Novak was a really good Christian. He always went to church, prayed before bed, and always ate all his vegetables. He was so devout, that one day he stuck his hand in a pot of boiling water because he heard a voice telling him to. His wife got a bit freaked out by this and tires to get James to take some anti-crazy pills, but jokes on her! Turns out that voice was real and that wife is the crazy one!

Klaus is a complicated man. When he was younger he had a curse placed on him, and has spent the better part of his life looking for a way to break it. On top of that, he had a less than stellar childhood. Because of this, he does not have very many friends and is generally considered to be a downer at parties. Also, he happens to be a couple of thousand years old, give or take a few centuries.
What are Prue, Piper, Phoebe, and Paige?
Descending from a power bloodline, these four sisters are destined to rid the world of evil. Originally there were only meant to be three sisters, but one got rekt and a forth was born. They each have their own unique set of powers ranging from telekinesis, to premonition, to cloaking, to even glamouring. Their secret weapon is the Book of Shadows, and it is only as strong as they are. If they aren't behaving like good little sisters, their power gets weaker.
What race is John Constantine?
John Constantine is a chain smoking, sarcastic and cynical badass. No matter what is standing in front, be it angel or demon, he is never shy of being brutally honest with them. That's how cool he is. But even with the depressing look on life that he has, he always had his friends back, even going so far as to help Arrow out on one occasion. But don't let that distract you from the fact that he is not above almost letting a kid die.
What is Slade Wilson
Slade Wilson practically saved Oliver Queens life when they were stuck on that island. If it weren't for Slade, Oliver would be fish food by episode 3. Slade taught Oliver how to fight in a matter of days by hitting him with sticks a couple of times, and the two then embarked on an epic adventure that led to them becoming best friends, and nothing bad every happened to them ever, especially not the death of Shado, the secret crush of Slade.
What are Sam and Dean?
Apart from being two of the prettiest people on the planet, Sam and Dean have made the fight against evil their personal fight. It was pretty easy considering how many times they've died, gone to hell, and sparred with the devil himself. Oh, they also know God, so there's that too. But how did they do it all? Anybody who thinks they're mere mortals pretty much gets ended. There's also something to be said for Dean's insatiable pie lust. It's pretty weird.
What was Damon Salvatore?
Damon was introduced at the start of The Vampire Diaries. Being the big, bad brother of Stefan, things were a bit rocky in terms of their relationship. Probably because Damon had a bit of a thing for killing Stefan's mates. But thankfully, they sat down and had a little pow-wow, and Damon decided to stop killing everyone, probably because it was getting quite exhausting. So the two eventually become best bro's again, but what did Damon become by the end of the show?
What did Matt become at the end of the series?
The Vampire Diaries was a groundbreaking series that put a twist on stereotypes you would not normally see in television. Matt is a perfect example. He was a star football player who did not, in fact, turn out to be a bully. But one stereotype they did not manage to break was that he was dating the hottest chick in school, Elena. Unfortunately for poor Matty boy, being the star football player for your school just did not stack up to being a vampire.
What was Bonnie?
Bonnie was your typical All-American teenager who thought she was special. Mostly because she would call her shots and every time she was right. But as with all of us, we all have a super granny that shows us how special we truly are. In Bonnie's case, super granny showed her that she wasn't just annoyingly lucky and that she did actually have a long dormant power within her. She also happened to be best friends with Elena and Damon.
What did Caroline become?
Caroline was the popular girl until Katherine decided to give her some real problems just because she was super jelly of Elena. Katherine was in love with the Salvatore boys, but unfortunately, boys will be boys and they fell in love with the closest female in range of their bedrooms. Katherine was highly displeased with this situation, and through extreme mental gymnastics, came up with a perfectly logical and sane plan to get back at them. Unfortunately, Caroline wasn't exactly in on this plan.
What was Crowley?
Crowley was the ultimate, sleazy used cars salesman. He was smooth, manipulative and extremely volatile. He has given the Winchester brothers their fair share of trouble over the years. His main goal is to protect himself. Despite this, he will do anything to keep Lucifer locked away, even going so far as to sacrifice himself to keep him locked away in an entirely different dimension. Even so, this not the kind of guy you should be trusting with your life.
What was Oz?
Oz came into Buffy at a tumultuous time in Willow Rosenberg's life. She had an unrequited love thing going on and her bestest buddy was always pretty busy kicking evil's butt. It took longer than a lot of fans would have liked for these two to get together and when all finally seemed well, Oz decided it was time to take off to better himself. It's okay though, because while he was doing that, Willow was busy being incredible. They'll always be friends.
What was Tyler before he became a hybrid?
Like many of us can relate to, Tyler had a dodgy uncle. His uncle's name was Mason and like many more of us can also relate to, his uncle would act really strange when he came to visit. So Tyler wanted answers to this and would not stop nagging uncle Mason about his weirdness. Uncle Mason eventually became clean about why he was acting so dodgy, and revealed that the weirdness ran in his veins, just like it ran in Tyler's.
What did Buffy temporarily turn into?
We all know Buffy Anne Summers was born to kill vampires. She was damn good at it. She was also pretty good at dating them, which is kind of weird for a Slayer, but hey, if it works, it works. Thing's she's not good at include: dying, not setting fire to things, and holding a long term relationship with a vampire. When Billy Palmer had a bad dream one night, we got to see Buffy's deepest fear come to life.
What was Azazel?
Azazel had a great sense of humor. He found it really funny when he convinced his victims that their worst fears were coming true when he killed them. Azazel also happens to be the one responsible for killing Sam and Dean Winchester's mother. It turns out that Mary, their mother, made a deal with Azazel to save their father, John. Azazel then thought it would be extremely hilarious to feed baby Sam his blood. This freaked Mary out just a little bit.
What was Raphael?
Raphael was a great employee, but as I'm sure many of us can relate, he lost faith in upper management. So he tried to unionize. Upper management wasn't having any of this so they just fired the whole lot of them. All Raphael wanted was the retirement plan they told him he would get. So Raphael gathered a few mates and attacked heaven with the hopes of restarting the apocalypse. Castiel was pretty happy with the current working conditions, and blew him up.
What was Wesley Wyndam-Pryce?
Wesley Wyndam-Pryce was one of Angel's best friends, but before that he was watching over Sunnydale alongside Buffy and the Scooby Gang. At this point, he was a bit too clean cut to handle the horrors of Sunnydale. Eventually he joined up with Angel investigations and worked alongside Angel. He thought Angel would appreciate it if he kidnapped his son. Eventually Wesley went onto lead his own mercenary band. Besides the kidnapping thing, Angel and Wesley still remain good friends.
What was Metatron at the time of his death?
Metatron was the scribe of God, and was chosen because he was closest to the door. He fled from heaven because he was scared that the other angels would steal the information of God from him. Metatron couldn't take the fighting among the angels anymore and decided the best thing to do would be to close off heaven from them. Fast forward a little bit, Metatron redeems himself by sacrificing himself to help stop The Darkness. But what was he at this time?
What was Damian Darhk?
What we have here is another example of the American Go-Getter! His life is a tragic one, where he is betrayed by his best friend forever, but he wasn't about to let that get him down, oh no. What Damien did was get back up, and get crackin' on a plan to rid the world of evil and naughtiness. But there are some people who just don't like that idea, and continue to get in the way of his plans for world peace.
What is Oliver Queen?
Oliver queen is a murderous, sadistic, psychopathic mad man who decided that he gets to choose what is right and what is wrong. He has committed over 55 murders, that we know about, and his team is responsible for many, many more. Acting outside the law, this absolute maniac has been at the center of every major catastrophe to hit Starling City in the past 5 years. With no end insight for this monster, what other nefarious plans does he have in the works?
What were the Gentlemen?
Originating from fairytales, The Gentlemen would roam from town to town being gentlemen, respecting woman where ever they went, and would often steal their hearts. Literally. They required human hearts in order to stay alive. They were always dressed to the nines, in black suits that made them look absolutely dashing, and had secret pockets in them to keep all their scalpels. Hobbies include hovering above the ground, being invulnerable to electricity, and stealing their victims voices so they can't scream for help.
What is Scott McCall?
Scott McCall was just a normal high school teenager, with a terrible father who drank all the time. Scott also had a beautiful doggo named Roxy, that saved his life once but unfortunately doggo didn't make it. Scotty-boy sucked at sports, and had to use an inhaler for most of his life, until he got his powers. Then he became super rad and like, won just all the school sports. All of them, seriously. It also cured his asthma, which is a plus too.
What did Camille O'Connell become?
Camille O'Connell was a psychology student and didn't think it was insane at all that New Orleans was full of people that ran around thinking they are werewolves and vampires. Klaus and Marcel both thought Camille was super hot, and so they decided to try and keep her out of the going on's among the supernatural world. Unfortunately, they sucked at it. One of Klaus's exes saw Camille as a good way to get back at him for leaving her, and tried to kill her.
What was Alexander Lavelle Harris?
Xander Harris was just a guy. With the best, best friends. More than once he and Buffy have saved the day. He is always there with a joke, and is more dangerous than one might think. He spent most of high school with a massive crush on Buffy. Except this one time where he developed a massive crush on his French teacher, but she turned out to be a giant mantis disguised as a beautiful woman, who wanted to eat poor Xander.
What are Barry, Caitlin and Cisco?
When Barry started messing with the timelines, he changed a lot of things for better, or worse. He changed the way event's played out, even creating all new characters. But what's important, is that because of him, all his friend's now have superpowers. From Caitlin getting a case of the crazies and gaining ice powers, to Cisco literally bending reality with the power of good Vibes, Barry has changed their lives forever. What is the name given to these people with remarkable abilities?
