TV Buffs Won't Be Able To Match The Bedroom To The Show. Can You?

Our bedrooms are our sanctuaries. We sleep, relax and chill in them. We eat, watch TV and browse the internet there. Some of us work our jobs and work out our bodies in our bedrooms. We can just be our unique selves in these safe spaces.

Bedrooms are also true reflections of their owners. Some people are messy and disorganized, with piles of dirty plates, dirty clothes and dirty magazines taking up every inch of every space. Others, though, have carefully organized everything in their rooms - from their clothes and books to their “junk” - by color, size, season and shape.

All of this is also true for the characters we watch on TV. Regularly (either through new episodes each week or re-runs each night), these characters invite us into their own unique safe spaces. We see them in their bedrooms - laughing, crying, hanging out, solving mysteries, making love, getting into trouble, doing homework and living life.

How well do we pay attention to these bedrooms, though? If we were given a picture of one corner of the room, one wall, one piece of furniture or even one part of the bed, would we be able to identity the television show?

Let’s find out! This quiz contains 25 images of 25 bedrooms - all from television. Some are definitely more recognizable than others and have notable features, while others are only shown briefly and are more mysterious. Study them all, pick the best choice, and try to match the bedroom to the show!

Question 1

Comfy & Chic

This bedroom is comfy, with stylish flairs. The owner went for a huge bed with a soft-looking comforter and several plush pillows and then went the extra mile to hang up art, add lamps and bring in personal touches. There are also several stacks of books, magazines and paper, as well as an opened laptop on the bed. It is safe to say that this TV character is in this room a lot and may have some fun midnight phone conversations.

Question 2

Bright & Cheery

This bedroom is a literal rainbow! It is full of bright and cheery colors on every single surface. There are two different curtains and two different rugs. There are numerous prints on the boho bed and numerous paper lanterns making the space even brighter. Art, clothes, a coffee mug, purses and shoes litter the space, yet it doesn’t seem cluttered or messy. It just seems like a vibrant, fashionable, young and fun character knows what she likes and applies that to her room! !

Question 3

Open & Airy

This animated bedroom is every kids’ dream - and some adults would probably enjoy it, too. The entire ceiling is glass, meaning the owner could daydream while looking at the clouds and fall asleep while counting twinkling stars. There are also several plants, which get plenty of sunlight, a whole wall of shelving and fun touches like art, colorful carpeting and books. This room is clean, sleek and - especially - funky, just like its young, fresh and quirky owner - who is as animated as this room.

Question 4

Comfy & Blue

This bedroom seems to belong to someone who likes the color blue. It seems very cozy and inviting. The bed - at the center of the room - has several rows of pillows; the fact that there are decorative pillows suggest that the owner cares about style and decor. The bed also has several layers, making it seem ideal for cozying up, away from life’s problems. There are also books, several lamps, rolling shades and blue in the rug and the curtains.

Question 5

Yale & More Yale

This bedroom obviously belongs to a fan of Yale. The Ivy League school is celebrated through a sweater, a cap, posters, flags, banners and informative fliers. Underneath all the school memorabilia, there is a desk and a bulletin board, which - even without the Yale stuff - seem to be holding important documents, books and memories. The owner of this TV room, perhaps, went to Yale or wanted to go to Yale, so he/she took pride in working hard and reaping the benefits of that hard work.

Question 6

Dark & Light

This bedroom is mysterious, like its owner. It does have a big, white, fluffy, light bed - full of pillows and blankets - as well as two windows that let in the slightest ray of sunshine across the space. Everything else, though, seems dark, hidden in the shadows and concealed. This room seems to echo its owner - full of dimension and depth. The butterflies serving as art and the scarves hanging on the left of the room do give off youthful, feminine vibes.

Question 7

Hip & Funky

This bedroom is another fun one! As mentioned, bedrooms reflect their owners, and anything can be added to a space to make it unique - such as a stop sign used as wall art, a graffiti-covered headboard, pictures of crushes and idols everywhere and favorite pairs of tennis shoes displayed on top of the bed. There are some clues that could easily give this TV show away, but just by looking at the details of the room, guess the show! Which character would enjoy such a hip and funky room?

Question 8

Colorful & Open

This bedroom seems to have lots of room for activities, and judging by the young girls pictured, it could belong to one or more children on a TV show. These characters seem to enjoy reading, talking on the phone and playing with dolls and stuffed animals. The bright colors, fun prints (seen on the comforter and the wallpaper), wall art, outfits and pops of red (on the window seat, the walls and the bed) show that these characters enjoy having fun.

Question 9

Dark & Low

This bedroom is quite strange. Instead of a traditional bedroom, this TV character sleeps in a fort, crafted out of numerous blankets, which serve as walls, a ceiling and a semi-comfortable bed. A perfectly placed nightlight helps to brighten up the space a bit, but the overall darkness carries a tone of mystery. There could be snacks, clothes, electronics, books and other needed or wanted items hidden within all those blankets, or this could have been used for one afternoon nap.

Question 10

Young & Boyish

This bedroom - even without the characters - seems young and boyish. Blues and reds go well in male rooms, and industrial touches keep belongings out of the way, while personal touches make this space a true safe space. It looks fun yet functional, whether the owner wants to study on his bed alone or have his buds plop down on the floor to hang out with him. It is also a pretty clean room if it does indeed belong to a teen male!

Question 11

Colorful & Cartoony

This bedroom is from an animated television series. Its owner, pictured on the purple bed, wears a green hat. He listens to music, surfs the web and watches TV, like a normal young boy would do. There is not much personality in this room - but there is a globe, a toy whale, a blue wall, printed pajamas and hint at Judaism. This character’s plot points may mostly take place outside of his bedroom and in his cold and famous hometown.

Question 12

Regal & Sophisticated

This bedroom is full of sturdy, solid pieces of wooden furniture. The room doesn’t seem hard and tough, though, due to rose-colored drapes, a light purple color on the wall and lots of feminine touches (floral art, tassels, beauty products and pops of pink). Here, it appears some TV woman of importance gets ready for her days. The rest of the room could have a modest wooden bed, a whole other sitting area or a large king-sized bed with a canopy.

Question 13

Junky & Cluttered

This bedroom speaks volumes. Its owner does not seem organized or very clean, but he/she may know exactly where everything is. It is strange that, just in this corner, two doors are blocked off. Are they filled with more junk? Or did this character get overwhelmed and choose to just put all of his/her belongings in this one corner? Whatever is going on, this person may like to have fun, since there are/is several guitars, piles of CDs, sporting equipment and a dart board.

Question 14

Young & Simple

This bedroom seems to belong to a teenager. The room is simple, giving off vibes that its owner is also simple - and, perhaps, a straightforward, no-nonsense, logical-thinking young man. There do seem to be some awards on the walls and a computer on the desk, so this teen is probably studious, hardworking and ambitious. It is hard to tell much else (such as the time period, exact age, location and hobbies), even with three whole characters in the room as hints!

Question 15

Boho & Cozy

This bedroom looks like a great place to hide away. When faced with any type of stress, its owner can listen to music, sleep while surrounded by pretty pillows, write in journals or read numerous books - all by the light of a cool boho lamp. This area is small yet perfectly styled for this character, and the darkness (in the dim-lit room and in the dark purples and pinks) gives it a mysterious vibe, which is perfect for getting away.

Question 16

Animated & Airy

This bedroom also comes with its owners, as well as lots of blue and airy touches. The walls, the drapes, the bedding, the nice day outside and the print of a mountain give off light and breezy vibes. This room is another simple one, and it seems like this animated man and this animated woman just come in here to end the day and get some sleep; they seem to be enjoying sleeping in, since it is already bright out!

Question 17

Bright & Girly

This bedroom is cute! Just this one area is shown, but it reveals a great deal. This TV character seems to be female, since there are girly prints on the bed and the walls and since there are flowers, hearts and mirrors surrounding the space. Colorful prints - full of inspiration and beauty - are also pinned up above the pretty, detailed headboard. This character is probably a typical teen girl, who relaxes in her room - when she’s not out having fun.

Question 18

Comfy & Colorful

This bedroom has several different colors going on, but they are all calm and relaxing - and obviously working, since this character is snoozing away. The bed is really the only thing pictured, but there are some other items shown, such as pictures, storage items and a lamp. The lamp is almost the same shade as that legendary blue headboard, which this character and her husband prop up against when they chat about their days and lives and hang out.

Question 19

Pink & White

This bedroom is pink and white! Ignore the characters, and focus on the details: lots of pink (on the walls and bed), several personal touches (such as art, knick knacks and a couple of shabby chic pieces of furniture) and not much else. This room is small, but the owner is making the most of it. He/she knows what he/she wants, and there are just enough homey items - leaving out any clutter or unnecessary items that would take up space...like these men are doing.

Question 20

Blue & Nautical

This bedroom could belong to anyone, but narrow it down by taking it all in: posters featuring cars and The Beatles, ships on the wall and the curtains, two small beds, a desk with various books and papers and a nightstand holding a funky lamp and comicbooks. Assumptions are not always correct, but it does seem that this room belongs to at least one young boy - a boy who likes reading about superheroes, who dreams of owning a cool car and who makes his bed and does his homework to please his parents.

Question 21

Pink & Plants

This bedroom - once again - should be guessed by focusing on the details, rather than by focusing on the pictured character. This bedroom seems rather fabulous! It is definitely not everyone’s style, but it is perfect for those who love feminine and bold things, who love pink and plants and who love places to sit and get all dolled up. The palm leaves are definitely a focus here, but the accent chair, lamps and multiple bottles of makeup and beauty products add more style.

Question 22

Sugar & Spice

This bedroom looks so sweet and darling! There are soft touches of pink everywhere, and the walls are covered in a cheery yellow print. The small twin bed has an antique look, and the double-door closet and multi-drawered dresser seem like great places to store anything and everything - and a great place to show a great toy collection. Based on the colors and ruffles, this room probably belongs to a television show that stars/starred at least one young girl.

Question 23

Black & White

This bedroom, which is obviously from the set of a TV show, is simple. It does have printed curtains, a couple of pictures on the wall and a headboard that serves as shelving. The two most notable parts of this room, though, are the fact that it’s black and white and the fact that there are two beds. Back in the day, it was common for spouses to sleep in separate beds, so these two details can at least hint at the time period of this show.

Question 24

Husband & Wife

This bedroom does come with its owners, a husband and wife, and the bedroom seems to reflect the two. Some of the fabrics chosen seem a bit girly, but overall, the room seems to have enough shades, prints and materials to please them both. There is enough lighting to read in the armchair, get some final work done in bed or put on/take off various beauty products (as pictured). A connecting bathroom gives this couple the privacy they need - maybe from kids, in-laws or nosy neighbors.

Question 25

Fun & Colorful

This fun and colorful bedroom has a lot going on, and it seems its owner does, too. The bed has several prints and colors on it. The walls are covered in a checkerboard pattern, and the fact that they are not perfect squares adds even more character. On top of the patterned wall, there are hub caps, posters and shelves of random items. An open window reveals a tree, a bright blue sky and a ladder (for coming, going or both?).
