Cosplay is the difficult art of bringing to life characters that you might see in different media like anime, video games, TV shows, and cartoons. Cosplayers often have to put a lot of effort into doing justice to those characters, from learning how to edit in certain effects (if the character is aflame, for example), to designing the costume. A lot of them even have to frequent the gym so that they can get the kind of body that the character they wish to cosplay has. And these people are often huge fans of everything geeky, that's why they put in so much effort into something like this.
It isn't really a job, and the only way to use cosplaying as a way to earn a living is to ask for donations for people to support you. It's a hobby, if anything, a very demanding hobby. He spent the better part of the show trying to capture the Avatar so that he could bring him back to his Fire Lord and earn redemption of some kind. After some time, he realises that he's fighting for the wrong side, and joins the Avatar to help bring down the Fire Lord. In fact, he's the one who teaches the Avatar how to firebend.

The front page of the book has a list of instructions that follows that a person whose name will be written in the book shall be erased from existence. Using the power of the book, he becomes the judge, jury, and executioner of criminals around the world. The girl being cosplayed is a huge fan of his work within the franchise.

With looks similar to a fox, this League of Legends champion is known as The Missing Link. He was trapped in true ice and was frozen in time as hours turned to days, and days into years. The world moved on, jaded and worn down by time, but not The Missing Link. Ice couldn't contain him forever, and he broke free from his frosty cage and wandered Runeterra until he was taken in by the descendants of his species. There is a monster inside of his innocent looking face.

She was created for the simple and straightforward task of battling the machine-like creatures that now inhabited the Earth, a part of the YoRHa. She is a powerful fighter, capable of handling a large and difficult number of machines at once. The story follows slowly but steadily, asking the extremely difficult question of what it means to be human.

A character that first appeared in the expansion of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, this is an archangel. A former archangel, to be precise, of wisdom and was also known as The Silent Angel. He is a member of the Angiris Council and resides in the Pool of Wisdom in the High Heavens. Canonically a male angel, this cosplayer took it upon themselves to make it her own, and created a female version of the Former Archangel of Wisdom. Can you name him?

An ice type Pokémon evolution of the very eccentric Evee, this Pokémon while originally resembling a fox or a dog, was humanised and cosplayed into something else entirely. Evee is a Normal Pokémon which in of itself isn't that remarkable, outside of how adorable it is. Its real strength is in its adaptability, which means that it can evolve into a kind of Pokémon that is of various different elements from Grass Type, to Psychic Type, to Electric Type and numerous others.

Many are shocked when they find out the exact date of her original movie, but it was actually released in 1937. Yes, the movie is actually 81 years old.
