We all know about fairies and goblins, but do we all know about some of the rarer mythical creatures like ghouls (not to be confused with a ghost), kelpies, and hippocampuses? Yeah, they can be tough to keep track of because each culture has their own set of mythical beings that they told their kids about when they were telling stories back in the ancient days. It is pretty cool to think that those stories still survive up until the present day. Who knew that tales of the Loch Ness Monster and witches would still be so popular?

Vampire

Vampires are tricky creatures. They are very attractive, but you can not get too close to them unless you want to end up as their next meal. Many say they are damned as they are unable to die in way. Well, they are dead but they are unable to cross over to the after life. They must hunt for blood for eternity.

Demons are a tough one because some people claim they are real while other people claim they are not real. Demons are the Devil's henchmen and they go around collecting souls by driving people to either commit suicide or kill others. Either way they are just happy to provide a soul to their master.

Some are more fierce than others, and not all of them breath fire believe it of not. Also, not all of them fly. Good thing this is only a mythical being otherwise we'd be in some trouble.

Some stories say they are good and others say they are evil. It's hard to know which to believe. In ancient folklore, mermaids were known to look like beautiful maidens in their top halves, but were tasked with dragging sailors to the deaths when the sailors would be attracted to them. Yikes.
