Think It's Possible To Name 100% Of These Disney Villains? Let's Find Out!

This is just a fun quiz right here. I have to be honest when I say that I think this is one of the best things to quiz people on when it comes to massive franchises like Disney...the villains! Everyone loves the villains. Even if you actually, genuinely don't like this villain or that from a particular Disney movie, I know that you can't deny how fascinating and interesting they are.

Every single Disney villain has got a lot more conflict and craziness and overall coolness than pretty well every Disney hero, let's be totally honest here. It's no fault of the Disney heroes. It just so happens to villainy is way more interesting than watching a hero develop. You know they're going to go from sort of good to really awesome and good. That's their journey.

But with a villain...they might not be so crazy...until they get REALLY crazy! And they always want pretty messed up things and do strange things to get what they want. Anyway, I know I find Disney villains to be the best-drawn characters in the company...but how well do you know your villains? Do you think you can list off all of these cartoon baddies? I left out the Star Wars and Marvel villains. Sorry.

Question 1

Do you know this villain?

This guy is pretty iconic as a villain and is a great way to open up the quiz because I'm pretty sure that there is just no way that you could possibly get this first question wrong. I mean...he's a pirate character who hates crocodiles and clocks and loves to chase around young boys who can fly while he kidnaps native children and...you know, he really does not live a normal life. I wouldn't either though if I only had one hand and the other hand looked like I was a villain in I Know What You Did Last Summer.

Question 2

Do you know this villain?

This woman is one of the most awful villains in the entire Disney universe. Why is that, you might ask? Well, look at it this way...her entire reason for being a villain at all is simply because she wants a ton of Dalmatian pups so that she can kill them and use their fur to make some wonderful clothing. that's it. that is her whole goal for the entirety of the film. That's insane! I mean...that is literally insane. She just chases around 99 Dalmatians hoping to get some fancy clothes.

Question 3

Do you know this villain?

This guy is just crazy. Which is interesting because other than appearing to be completely narcissistic, he seems relatively ordinary. Sure, he's a big guy but he's just a guy who really likes a girl and tries every pickup line and every skill he can to impress her. That's just life for some guys. But then he goes a bit crazy and thinks he can get the girl by putting her father in an institution and by killing he beast...well...this guy falls off a castle instead.

Question 4

Do you know this villain?

This is the funniest of all the hyenas in The Lion King. He might appear to be totally dense but he at least does know how to communicate his thoughts and he is very honest...even if that gets him and his friends in a world of trouble every time. But hey, he's not there to be really villainous. He's there to make us laugh and he accomplishes that goal pretty easily. And he's a wonderful change in terms of how villains typically work in Disney

Question 5

Do you know this villain?

Oh, this guy is one of the greatest. Voiced by James Woods, this character of the underworld is an amazing cartoon rendition of a classical Greek figure from mythology. And I think that they get the personal issues and the human-like behaviour just right here. He does such a good job at being both insane but also comical and nonchalant (until his face burns fiery red). The dynamic of this character is just some of the best when it comes to Disney villains.

Question 6

Do you know this villain?

You know what? As far as I am concerned, this guy was actually pretty well a good guy for the most part. Everyone really considers him a villain and he does try to kill one of the main characters at the end but before then, he is the best thing that the kingdom has. Elsa goes off to her ice castle and basically has everyone in the kingdom freezing to death but this guy steps up, finally takes his chance to attain power but is actually very good at his job and does everything he does to save the people. He is in the right, even if he's a villain

Question 7

Do you know this villain?

There is something about Disney snakes that really just make for awesome villains. There are several films where you have snake or eel characters who just really help to make the story way more interesting. It's just something altogether about the way that they move and act that changes the whole dynamic of villainy. Even to the point where these serpents try to work their magic on other villains just so that they can preserve their own lives and enjoyment. It never works, but it is interesting.

Question 8

Do you know this villain?

These two slippery villains are a very interesting and dynamic duo in The Little Mermaid. Even though they're just a pair of eels, they really do a good job of witnessing pretty well everything and being able to help their giant octopus-woman boss...or leader...or master. Whatever she is. They serve the sea witch and they do a very good job of it, for sure. And they are wonderfully creepy but cool also and it really helps to level out the playing field between heroes and villains in that film.

Question 9

Do you know this villain?

Oh, it is hard to say that this guy is really a bad guy. I mean, he is technically on the side of the villain all the way through the film but he is also the conscience of the villain throughout the film and eventually finds his way to being pretty good. I mean, this guy is a good guy in the whole story, he's just a very loyal good guy. It doesn't help that he is pretty dense but it does make him hilarious.

Question 10

Do you know this villain?

Oh, this guy is one of the scariest villains to a lot of people. And from one of the most iconic Disney films of the modern era. Nightmare Before Christmas has got to have the best-selling merch (next to Frozen now) of all the Disney franchises. There is just something about the dark, gothic, Tim Burton feel that really pulls in angsty teenagers and adults who gravitate towards the dark side of things. This movie is both a wonderful Halloween and Christmas film and this villain really bugs a lot of people (pun intended)

Question 11

Do you know this villain?

This character is pretty thick. What I mean there is that he is dense, a dunce, dim-witted...whichever descriptor works best for you. Either way, this guy is still a fairly well-meaning vulture. I mean, he is just doing his job after all. He just happens to work for the evil Prince John. But in reality, he probably worked as a guard under the rule of King Richard before he left for the crusades anyway, so he is just loyal to whomever sits the throne.

Question 12

Do you know this villain?

You might not know this bit of info but this very evil villain is actually a fairy. Sure, she's as evil as the day is long but that doesn't change the fact that she is a fairy. She is the main villain of the Disney classic film Sleeping Beauty and she is very powerful and very evil indeed. The only reason the whole film happens is because this villain isn't invited to a christening...so then she curses Aurora and eventually turns herself into a dragon!

Question 13

Do you know this villain?

This character is very heavily based on a Shakespearean character from Othello. If that doesn't fully give the character away, then I don't know what else to say. Either way, this villain is played by the wonderfully hilarious Gilbert Gottfried. His character voice is probably one of the most iconic in comedy history and it works so well for this mouthy parrot. And this little sidekick is actually pretty active in being a villain. His desires are often even more brutal than Jafar's

Question 14

Do you know this villain?

This guy is one of three hyenas from the renaissance Disney film, The Lion King. He's got a ton of one-liners ready to fire at whomever he can. Usually, it's just to his two hyenas friends because they don't really talk to many other characters. I mean, unless they're talking to Scar about what to do next or talking to Mufasa about how they'll never do anything bad ever again..whoops. This guy isn't the dumbest of the trio but he certainly isn't the smartest either.

Question 15

Do you know this villain?

Oh man, this is one of the creepiest villains in Disney, for sure. Hands down. He is a judge in France and he hates all of the gypsies running around and considers them all criminals. Well, he ends up killing a woman in the film and takes her baby to drown him...but he just can't bring himself to do that (because he's a man of god), so he raises the deformed child and basically uses him as a slave in the cathedral. He's obsessed with a gypsy woman whom he either wants to love or wants to burn alive...

Question 16

Do you know this villain?

This giant and unfortunate human-meets-octopus sort of villain is pretty nutty. What I find the most interesting is that everyone knows her as the sea witch and that's bad for her reputation, I guess...but all she really wants is the power of Ariel's voice. But this character's amazing song 'Poor Unfortunate Soul' is probably one of the greatest Disney villain songs ever. She already has a great voice so why would she really want to steal Ariel's voice? They should just do duets.

Question 17

Do you know this villain?

This is one of the greatest villains of all Disney history, hands down. He comes from the Disney Renaissance era and has made a huge impact in the world of Disney villains. I think one of the most important features of this character is his voice and that has a lot to do with the wonderful Jeremy Irons whose voice is works as one of the coolest and most villainous voices in Disney, second perhaps only to the famed Tony Jay.

Question 18

Do you know this villain?

This guy is the long furry arm of the law in Robin Hood. This was pretty well my favourite Disney movie when I was a kid...it still is actually. There is just something about it. It's a classic story but told with Disney cartoon animals. That's pretty awesome. Anyway, this particular villain is in charge of enforcing the law and collecting all of the tax money in the town so that Prince John can have all of his gold to sleep next to.

Question 19

Do you know this villain?

This villain was once an advisor to a great emperor. Well...the emperor thought he was great but he treated everyone like total garbage. He was actually the villain if you really want to look at the reality of how the film started. But, of course, he has a change and ends up working for the good. It takes his former advisor trying to kill every step of the way and eventually turning him into a llama for him to finally realize that he's been a horrible person.

Question 20

Do you know this villain?

This magical lunatic is a pretty scary woman. She is obsessed with youth and she does everything she can in order to preserve her good looks. Every so often, she needs to use her "daughter's" magical hair to allow her to continue to live, lest she basically turn into dust. She tries to cover up her obsession with eternal youth by saying that she is protecting her "daughter". This is perhaps one of the creepiest and most abusive villains from one of the best films.

Question 21

Do you know this villain?

This terrifying beast is actually the main villainous feature of the fantastical musical film Fantasia. For those of you who don't recall this film...well, you really need to get back into Disney films and dig up a copy of this. It is a wonderfully designed animated film with all sorts of beautiful music and no dialogue. It is spectacularly done and is perhaps one of the greatest Disney achievements ever. But boy, when this guy opens his eyes for the first time...well those of you who know this beast know what I mean...

Question 22

Do you know this villain?

Even though this movie was made in the modern Disney era, there is still something classic about this villain. I think it's because the film goes back to a sort of Imperial England feel so this big-game hunter with his arrogant attitude and his desire to kill all of the big animals he can really does push this sort of reality to the era in which the film takes place. It's scary but this sort of guy still exists even today.

Question 23

Do you know this villain?

Alright, ok, you might be right here. This guy isn't really much of a villain but he does till play for the wrong team. It's not his fault. He actually really takes his job seriously. But it's not like he's sitting there reaping many of the benefits of Prince John's gold. He just happens to have a slightly better life than the rest of the poor people of Nottingham. Oh, and while he might carry a crossbow, he is a pretty scary shot.

Question 24

Do you know this villain?

This ferocious feline is perhaps one of the greatest villains of all time. Or at least he is one of my favourites of all time. There is just something so incredibly arrogant and awesome about him. He's just a really cool cat, for obvious reasons and yes that pun was intended. Nothing scares this guy (except maybe fire) and he is so calm about everything that you can't help but love the way he works. It doesn't hurt that the voice actor does wonderful work.

Question 25

Do you know this villain?

Oh a classically crazy villain, to be sure. This guy wants nothing more than to be the Sultan so that he can have princess Jasmine as his little pet while he rules over Agraba. I don't blame him, I guess but he goes about it in a completely maniacal way. Eventually, he gets turned into a genie which he thinks is a very smart idea but then he just ends up being stuck in a lamp of his own which might be a tight squeeze.

Question 26

Do you know this villain?

This is just a wonderfully hilarious and classic Disney villain. He is always whispering in Prince John's ear...or at least he tries to but he always ends up with his forked tongue tickling the prince's ear and then he gets hit or shoved away. At one point in the film, he is shoved in a barrel of wine and comes out quite bubbly, to say the least. Other times in the film, he gets himself literally tied in knots, which is pretty funny.

Question 27

Do you know this villain?

This is one of the coolest and most hilarious villains on here. I don't know if it helps for you to know that this villain is played by the famous Whoopi Goldberg but it is both true and thankfully awesome for the character as well. There is something about her ability to play both a completely silly but also vicious and raging character that really makes things all come together and work. Of course, she's defeated in the end but she's a real threat.

Question 28

Do you know this villain?

Here we have a sampling of the infamous sidekick pair that, for some ungodly reason (pun intended) follow around Hades. I actually do not even know why Hades keeps these guys around. I think he secretly just wants dunces hanging around him so he can beat them and yell at them whenever he wants since that's all that he seems to do to these guys. This is the chubbier of the two sidekicks but they are both pretty well equally ridiculous.

Question 29

Do you know this villain?

This guy is one of the worst villains on the list. I don't mean worst in that he's just a character that doesn't work for the film he's in. His character really works but he is the worst because his character is based in at least some truth. This is the main villain of Pocahontas, and that is all about British colonialism. This was a real thing that happened and this character is jam-packed with all of the racism and arrogance you'd expect.

Question 30

Do you know this villain?

This guy is a wonderful villain. He actually hardly does anything bad. He is really just there to look out for his best friend. That being said, his best friend is definitely a villain so that makes this little sidekick a villain by association. It's not like he really does much fighting or takes up any evil actions. He just bolsters his friend's confidence as much as he can and he backs up his every move...even though he can do very little either way.

Question 31

Do you know this villain?

This guy is perhaps one of the silliest of the villains in this quiz. Constantly sucking his thumb because of issues he has with his mother's passing, he is very short-tempered, scared to lose his position of power, obsessed with wealth, and very cruel to the people over which he rules. OF course, things change quite a bit when his brother gets back from the Crusades to talk back the throne. And Robin Hood lives to fight for the poor another day.

Question 32

Do you know this villain?

Alright so look, when it really comes down to it, this pudgy kitty is actually hardly a villain. I mean, the mice characters in this film are pretty significant when it comes to Cinderella getting to the ball and getting all of her eventual joy and happiness. They do a lot of covering and backing for her...so if this cat did manage to snag one of those mice, the movie would have been pretty different. But other than that, he was hardly a threat to the outcome of the film.

Question 33

Do you know this villain?

This is the devilish little sidekick of the iconic villain Maleficent. It's not like she couldn't get by without her pet raven as she does have all manner of powers at her disposal anyway but it certainly doesn't hurt her to have an evil eye that's able to fly here and there to look out for her evil plans and help her out when she needs some beak or talons dug into something. It's a weird relationship but he's a real cool character.

Question 34

Do you know this villain?

This guy is one of a pretty ridiculous duo from the Hercules film. This is one of the guys responsible for Hercules ending up as not quite a god in the beginning of the film. Of course, it is also thanks to this character and his counterpart that Hercules ends up living at all. They play off that they have killed Hercules to please Hades...and that works for a few years but it is not a happy time for this little guy when Hades finds out the truth.

Question 35

Do you know this villain?

Alright, to be fair here, it's not like this villain is a huge part of the film that he's in. He shows up much later on in the film after Lumiere and Cogsworth have been entertaining Belle for a while. This guy shows up at the behest of Gaston and Le Fou to commit Belle's father to a mental institution. I mean, let's be honest here, most of the characters in this film are crazy but that's the excuse Gaston uses to bring this villain into the picture.
