There's No Way You Will Know If It Happened On Friends Or On How I Met Your Mother

When it comes to sitcoms set in New York City, about a group of attractive young people who often live together, there are plenty of titles that come to mind... and Friends or How I Met Your Mother are sure to be two of the most obvious choices!

Friends was on the air a little earlier than How I Met Your Mother, which means that there are some gags that haven't aged quite as well (not to mention some of the outfits!!), but both are filled with hilarious adventures in living and working in the greatest city in the world. Some of those adventures just couldn't happen to anyone else... but some of them end up being extremely similar... there are things that have even happened on both Friends and How I Met Your Mother - although there's no way of knowing if that's just because it's too good a sitcom joke to pass up, or if it's because that's just the way that life ends up happening in New York City...

Do you know both shows so well that you can tell which is which, just from a description (and a screenshot that reveals a little about the event in question)? Or would you struggle to place the zany sitcom scenario, because they are all just so darn similar sometimes? Take our quiz and find out how well you fare!
