There's No Way You Can Remember All These Gilmore Girls Scenes!

Gilmore Girls is an American TV series that first aired in 2000 and continued on for seven seasons, officially ending in 2007. The show focused on the lives and the relationships of a single mother called Lorelai and her daughter Rory who live in a small town called Stars Hollow.

The show explored themes such as romance, social class, ambition, family and education and while it never received huge ratings the show has, by now, become iconic. Indeed, nowadays it is known as a cult classic so it comes as no surprise that in 2016 Netflix released a Gilmore Girls mini series called Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. The mini series consisted of four episodes, each episode following the beloved characters through each season of the year.

This particular scene you see here is from season 1 episode 7 of Gilmore Girls, titled "Kiss and Tell". The Autumn festival is on and Rory is hiding something from Lorelai. In preparation for their "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" night the two go to the grocery store where Dean works to buy junk food. Lorelai ends up inviting Dean to watch a movie with them and while the night starts off very awkwardly in the end Rory and Dean have a lot of fun and Lorelai gets to know Dean a bit better.

This scene is from season 1 episode 4 of the show which was titled "The Deer Hunters". Rory gets a bad grade on an assignment and Sookie is upset to find that a food critic described her risotto as only "fine". Lorelai goes to a parent-teacher meeting at Chilton where she meets Rory's English teacher Max and finds out she got a bad grade. Lorelai goes home to comfort Rory but the next day Rory has a test and both end up oversleeping which results in Rory not being allowed to take the test, much to Lorelai's dismay and anger.

Of course, Lorelai is too busy with work to join them. Rachel - Luke's new girlfriend - and Lorelai hang out together, which makes Luke uncomfortable. Rachel and Lorelai go to see an abandoned inn called Dragonfly as Lorelai is thinking about buying it. This scene is from season 1 episode 16 of the show, which has been titled "Star-Crossed Lovers and Other Strangers." Dean and Rory are celebrating their three-month anniversary which Dean thinks is a big deal. Rory even gets a night off from the weekly Gilmore dinners to celebrate with him. However, it doesn't go quite as planned. Lorelai meets Luke's old girlfriend, Rachel, who happens to drop by and then goes to dinner with her parents on her own where she is set up with a man.
