There's No Way You Can Name The Most Popular Movies Of All Time From Just One Image

In the beginning, there was nothing. Then a lot of stuff happened. Eventually, movies were invented. Okay, cool. That catches everyone up on the the history of the world pre-film so that we are all going into this on equal footing. And once the camera started rolling, it was pure magic baby!  From the very first feature, films were a hit. Audiences flocked to movies like, the one where the train comes at the screen, and the one where the cowboy shoots at the screen, and the one where something else comes toward the screen. This is before smart people were invented, so people ran screaming from the theaters, scared of being hit by things coming at the screen. Probably.

Ever since movies were invented, people have been trying to come up with ways to rank and categorize them. They want to list movies by the best, the biggest money makers, the most watched, the most popular and so on. Who decides what a movie's merit is, though? And how do we decide a movie's popularity? Is a movie's merit based on how it is received by critics and the general public? Is a film's popularity based on how much money it makes, how many people see it, and how much enjoyment it brings to those who saw it? The answer to both of those questions is yes, of course, obviously. So, let's see how well you know your popular movies. How many of these can you guess just by the image?
