Motorcycles and gangs! Sons of Anarchy is an American crime drama television series created by Kurt Sutter in 2008.

This intense series never pulled back on their punches, getting audiences in the emotional gut almost every episode over it's 7 season life span. The show follows the life of Jackson 'Jax' Teller, a single parent and member of the motorcycle club SAMCRO. This show was not afraid to delve into the tumultuous lives of the members of the notorious SAMCRO and as an audience we follow the characters with our fingers crossed that our favourites will survive each episode, that we will continue to be able to watch them navigate the dangerous world the SAMCRO live in. Our patience and support is not always rewarded unfortunately, and instead we lose some of our favourite characters in heartbreaking ways! Still, we continue to watch, and we continue to root for our favourites.

Cast members include the British actor Charlie Hunan as the main character Jax Teller, actress Maggie Siff as Dr Tara Knowles, Ron Perlman as Clay Morrow, Katey Sagal as Gemma Teller Morrow and so many more. With a range of excellent actors working under the watchful eye of Kurt Sutter it's no wonder the show became such a hit!

Jax is not only an integral part of the SAMCRO community but is also a somewhat unexpected family man. Throughout the series you see his commitment to those he considers family, whether they are blood or patch. Initially the club was formed as a way for the returning war veterans to rebel against restrictive social rules. The men had seen many atrocities while at war and all they really wanted when they returned was a way to find freedom and to protect their home.
