Amos Slade was an unusual villain in this Disney classic about two best friends - because he doesn't start out as anything more than a grumpy old neighbor! He spends most of his time just wanting to enjoy his hunting cabin and his dogs, without being disturbed by the cute pet belonging to his widowed neighbor... but ends up getting so annoyed that he'll break the law to hunt that pet down! Thankfully, though, the magic of friendship saves the day in the end.

In The Emperors New Groove, the evil Yzma always has her right hand stooge at the ready: Kronk. The Princess and the Frog is a sweet love story about two people who bring out the best in each other; for Tiana, Naveen gets her to relax, and stop focusing entirely on work (and letting life pass her by), while Tiana inspires Naveen to get a little more work done, and to start doing more than just partying all the time... and of course, they go from hating each other to this romantic dinner proposal (although that also goes a bit wrong...).
Where did Lady first meet Tramp
More sweet animal couples in this Disney classic, as a pampered cocker spaniel ends up falling for a stray... Like all good odd couples, Lady and the Tramp don't get along too well when they first meet, but Lady is won over when Tramp takes her on a romantic night on the town, including dinner for two at Tony's Italian Restaurant. They have their ups and downs, but as always, that Disney magic comes through and makes sure that they are together in the end.

Another odd couple (who fall in love, of course) are Beauty and the Beast; the kind and gentle village girl who gives up her freedom to a savage and uncivilized beast (who is also a prince). Why does Hades tell Meg that Hercules is no good?
Hades may be one of the sassiest villains in the Disney catalog, and he's always got a comeback... including when Meg accidentally starts falling for Hercules. Originally, she was simply intending to seduce him and discover his weakness (thus earning her freedom from Hades), but of course, she falls in love with the handsome young Godling and tells Hades that she is no longer willing to hurt him... and Hades scoffs at her list of reasons why this time, things are different - what's the main reason he gives for her not to trust Hercules?
Why was Dug hiding under the porch?
Every kid (and most adults, if we're honest) have dreamed about being able to talk to their dog - and we mean really talk to them; even have them talk back! And in Up, one of the characters managed to do just that, inventing a collar that allows his dogs to speak like people. Dug's ramblings are always adorable, extremely dog-like (squirrel!), and absolutely spot on in the adorable Up - and at one point, he uses this gift to explain why he was hiding underneath the porch. When Mulan cut off her hair and ran away to war to pose as a boy and save her father's life, her ghostly ancestors knew that something would have to be done about it - so they woke a guardian to go and bring her home again. Olaf must be the warmest snowman in the Disney universe - he loves hugs, he just wants to help people, he's always smiling... and he is really looking forward to one particular season.
