The American version of The Office was adapted from a previously successful UK sit-com under the same name, and ran for 9 seasons beginning in the spring of 2005 and ending in 2013. It was one of NBC's most successful sit-coms of all time, which includes an impressive stable with the likes of Seinfeld, Friends, and Saturday Night Live to their credit.
For 9 brilliant seasons the writers of The Office captivated the world, and the cast were the driving force behind that. She is a no nonsense business woman and had no issue with putting Michael in his place when he resisted against the policy changes.

The road was a good place for him, since he is easily one of the worst human beings imaginable and everyone in the Scranton branch completely hated him. He was rude, arrogant, sexist, yet Michael Scott thought of him as one of his best friends. It had gotten so bad that Jim and Dwight tried to get him fired.

Andy's family falls apart when his father splits with every dollar the family had and leaves the country with his new wife. For one thing, she shows up in costume for Halloween but nobody else does.
