The American version of The Office was adapted from a previously successful UK sit-com under the same name, and ran for 9 seasons beginning in the spring of 2005 and ending in 2013. It was one of NBC's most successful sit-coms of all time, which includes an impressive stable with the likes of Seinfeld, Friends, and Saturday Night Live to their credit.

For 9 brilliant seasons the writers of The Office captivated the world, and the cast were the driving force behind that.
