The 90s were a wild time, and although some of the music and fashion doesn't really hold up there's one thing from the 90s that everyone can still enjoy: the movies. Sure, there were plenty of flops, and more than a few films that have managed to date themselves with pop cultural references from the era, but truthfully, there are more hits than misses when it comes to really great 90s films.
They span all genres, including action, comedy, drama, and romance, but they all hold a special place in the hearts of people who grew up watching them. It doesn't matter what kind of movie people liked back then, there was always one available at the local Blockbuster (and as long as they had a backup choice, nobody had to feel disappointed when the store didn't have any copies left).
Rush Hour
Lee is a decorated Hong Kong detective. Carter is an off-the-wall LAPD detective. They don't seem like the kind of cops who could work well together, but when the daughter of a diplomat goes missing, they have no choice but to set their differences aside and find her before it's too late.
Clerks
Dante has to go into work on his day off, and things only get worse from there. At least he has work friend Randall to keep him company. Clerks was the first film made by director Kevin Smith, and its low budget indie charm and over-the-top humor captured the attention of audiences everywhere.
Home Alone
