Halloween is just around the corner so it's time to plan our costumes and to start getting those decorations out of the basement. Perhaps this year we'll even make some new spooky decor, really give the neighbors something to talk about! Perhaps we'll even plan a Halloween party for our friends?
In the classic 1993 stop-animation film The Nightmare Before Christmas, the residents of Halloween Town spend the entire year planning their celebrations for the next Halloween. That is until Jack Skellington (their unofficial leader) stumbles across a place called Christmas Town and decides that they should try and celebrate Christmas for change.
But the residents of Halloween Town are not used to the bright colors and spirit of Christmas as for them macabre is always better. Try as they might they just don't seem to get it right. When Jack decides to take over from Santa Claus, the holiday is almost ruined for everyone, but luckily Santa manages to save the day.
