The music industry is competitive and rife with constant changes. Surviving in the music industry means having an ear for talent and an eye for a creative personality. There are stories full of record executives who later regret passing on a certain celebrity that turned out to become a successful legend. Plus, running a music label isn't easy. It takes a team of PR agents, reporters, and some crafty alliances to make sure a new star's career stays strong. This is especially tricky for bands who have competition amongst themselves and who are often pitted against each other by the media, producers, or even their friends.
