Are you ready for kids? This could be a really tough question. Sometimes you might feel like you are ready for kids, but then when you feel as though you are gathering your courage to have them, you talk yourself out of it. Having kids is a really tough decision. Your whole life literally changes overnight. There is no more sleeping through the night soundly, no more sleeping in, and good luck going out whenever you want at the drop of a hat. However, this might not be a big deal to some people because they are really ready to move on to their next adventure and that is awesome for them.

Do you think you are ready for this adventure, or do you think it is not your time yet? Well, one indicator could be how well you tolerate kids shows. If you don’t tolerate them well at all you could argue if you are ready for kids at all. If you can handle kids shows, maybe you are ready to have a kid. What do you think of Dora the Explorer? She's a cute little Mexican girl that teaches kids how to speak a second language, how cool is that? Her and her backpack are very adventurous and nothing keeps them away from their big time adventures that is for sure. What do you think?

The Powerpuff Girls is about three little girls that were created with massive super powers that save the city of Townsville all the time. Living with their "dad," Professor Plutonium, they fight crime just before bedtime and make sure they still get a full day of school in the next day as well. How cool!

Who doesn't know about the Rugrats? All of our favorite babies, Tommy, Phil, Lil, Chucky, and Angelica go on a bunch of adventures to mostly help their parents or figure out things for themselves. Whether they are trying to find Reptar or using Spike as their own personal horse, they know how to have a wild adventure.

Yo Gabba Gabba is a really popular a crazy show about some random characters that like to have a good time. With songs like, "There's a Party in My Tummy" how could you go wrong? This is a great show for parents and kids a like to get up and both dance and sing along to the beats.

Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood is a spin off of Mr. Roger's Neighborhood—the little Tiger even puts his shoes on and has the same red sweatshirt as Mr. Rodgers. He has the same little neighborhood that we all knew and loved from Mr. Rodgers except this cartoon form has some twists from the old show.

Sesame Street is a classic show that features all of our favorite characters including Big Bird, The Cookie Monster, Grover, Elmo, Telly, Bert, Ernie, and so many more. There are songs and lessons for kids to learn and dance to and parents can also grove along with their kids too. It's a fun show.

Blues Clues is about a guy named Steve and his dog, Blue. Blue likes to leave clues around Steve's house letting him know what she wants to do that day. Along the way, there are little game Steve and Blue play together that prove to be very educational as well. It is all around fun for everyone.

Reading Rainbow is pretty self explanatory, it is all about reading. The original show was a big hit back in the early '90s, so much so that they brought it back again! As the saying goes, "Take a look, it's in a book, it's Reading Rainbow!" It's a fun program that just gets kids to think reading is cool.

Thomas the Train was about Thomas, who was, of course a train. Him and his train buddies would have adventures on the rails that would keep children thinking that trains and other automobiles were pretty darn cool. in fact, there were a lot of toys that came out so kids could make their own adventures too.

Teletubbies was a bit of an odd show, but boy oh boy did the kids ever love it during its run. The show was about four aliens that all were different colors and had different shapes on them and the adventures they got into. This British show was a huge hit for kids while it was on the air—kids couldn't get enough of it.

Clifford is about a huge red dog that a family kept as a pet like it was no big deal! This dog literally towered over houses and ate tons and tons of dog food! Could you imagine having this dog as a pet? Regardless, Clifford is a good-spirited dog that just likes to have a good time.

Curious George is about a monkey and his owner and all of the crazy adventures they go on because of the curiosity of Curious George. George is a little monkey that tries his best to stay out of trouble, but he just can;t do it because he is so curious about the world around him.

This is an oldie but a goodie. School House Rock is about teaching kids the ways of different subjects in school. Anything from grammar to government and math are on the table here. The thing is, it is taught to them in the way of song that is really easy to remember.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is about all of our favorite Disney characters like Mickey, Daisy, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto, and all of the fun they have on a day to day basis. Everything from fishing for gooey fish to camping is on the table for this fun crowd. Plus, there are fun songs too.

Hey Arnold! is a show for older kids, but it still draws the kids in nonetheless. It is about a bunch of fourth graders that have some crazy times because of their different ideas and opinions on the world around them. Arnold, the main characters, has some really big ideas and stands up for what he believes in regularly.

Mister Rogers' Neighborhood is about Mr. Rogers and his magical neighborhood that you can get to on his magical train. The puppetry in this show was pretty amazing and the kids really loved it. In fact, they loved it so much that there has been a spin off show called Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood in recent years.

Bill Nye the Science Guy is about Bill Nye that teaches kids that science is cool. He shows kids various experiments that prove that science doesn't have to be boring all of the time. In fact, everyone's favorite subject was science thanks to Bill Nye while they were growing up! It was cool stuff.

My Little Pony

My Little Pony is about a bunch of magical ponies that live together in peace and harmony...for the most part. Back in the early '90s this was also a popular show and there were also movies and play sets made about this show as it really was super popular. These ponies are so sweet and adorable.

Bear in the Big Blue House is about a bear that lives in his house with all of his friends. As Bear lives out his normal day, he encounters his friends and he must solve various games and puzzles they throw his way in a fun and creative way.
