Can you believe that Finding Nemo was released almost 15 years ago? That's right - it was released back in 2003! You probably feel super old now - just like Crush who is already 150! But never fear, according to him you can be that age but still young! If you are anything like the rest of us, you have probably sen Finding Nemo a hundred times, as well the sequel, Finding Dory. Both of these movies are a family favorite and can be enjoyed any time of the day.

Nemo and his dad are not just any kind of fish. They are unique and special in their own way. They do have white stripes, but they are mostly orange. After young Nemo is captured by divers, his father goes on a mission to find his son. Every sea creature he bumps in to refuses to help him. In fact, they are annoyed that he is asking for their help in the first place. Then, he literally bumps into a little blue fish with yellow fins. She offers to help, since she saw the boat go past - apparently... It's a trying time for Marlin as the only fish who can help has short term memory loss...
Where do Nemo and his dad live?
We know that Nemo and his dad live together in the ocean - that's pretty obvious. But they live in a very particular part of the reef, under the sea. When Nemo attends his first day of school, the teacher says that all newcomers must answer a simple question before they can join. The question is where do they live. Nemo tries his best to say the name of his home, but he struggles with the pronunciation. What is it?
What does Marlin call Nemo's damaged fin?
As we mentioned previously, Coral and Marlin were attacked and Marlin lost Coral and most of their eggs. Do you remember that Nemo's egg was damaged to some degree? Did this result in some deformity on Nemo? Or did it not really have an impact on his physical appearance at all? You may recall that both Nemo and his father often mention that he can't swim properly. We do notice, however, that this does not stop him from doing what must be done!

The sea creatures have a tradition where the teacher (who is a stingray) takes the children all over and teaches them about the sea etc. After Nemo and the other children leave with their teacher, the other parents remark that Marlin is calm for a first time parent whose child is headed somewhere unsafe. When the young children reach the drop off, they notice a strange object in the water. They call it a butt. Obviously, it isn't really a butt. Then, like a rebel without a cause, Nemo reaches out with his fin, and touches the butt!

So, Nemo rebels and touches the boat/butt. Then he heads back to face whatever punishment his father plans to bestow on him. In this time, a diver comes up from the beautiful reef, with a camera. Suddenly, he takes a photo of Marlin, briefly blinding him with the flash. Something unthinkable happens to young Nemo while all of this is taking place... When does Marlin meet Dory?
We understand that Marlin and Dory must meet at some stage in the movie. After all, they work together to go and find Nemo and save him. But, the question is, when does Marlin meet this forgetful blue fish? Is it before Nemo gets taken away? Maybe it is after Nemo is taken? Maybe they met while all the drama with Nemo and the diver was still happening. Or, was she actually one of the mothers of the young children at the school?
What kind of fish is dory?
The fish in the sea are often bright in color and usually more than one color as well. We know that the clown fish are white and orange as well. There are plenty of different beautiful fish, especially in warm, tropical waters. Some glow, some are covered in beautiful fluttery patterns and scales. We already know that Nemo and Marlin are clown fish, so obviously Dory isn't one of those. But, if you really are a fan you know what kind of fish she is.
Why does dory always forget?
It is extremely frustrating when you are trying to do or say something, and suddenly you forget what you were going to do next. This is a problem that Dory experiences on a daily basis. It not only frustrates her, but it also frustrates those around her as well. There is a sequel called 'Finding Dory'. In this we also learn just how often Dory forget things, but suddenly, she starts to remember old child hood memories which she was fond of.
What kind of fish is Bruce?
.A short while in to the movie we meet three friendly fish. These guys are on their own mission and aren't too concerned with finding Nemo. They are all on a program to try and recover and abstain from eating other fish. There is one little guy who actually eats his buddy - or, at least we can assume that based on the skeleton which pops out of his mouth... These three friends initially seem OK, but after Dory gets a bloody nose, things change.

As we mentioned previously, these sharks are not your average sharks. Bruce drags Dory and Marlin along with him to go to a meeting. They tag along reluctantly, against their will and better judgement as well! They soon discover that they are part of a meeting which the sharks are holding together. They all say a pledge, and say when they last ate a fish and so on. Doesn't this seem to have the same outline as an AA meeting?
