Now, there are several shows based on characters from DC Comics on The CW network. All of the shows exist in the same universe and often crossover with each other. This shared television universe is called the Arrowverse by fans. This distinguishes it from other DC Universes, such as the animated universe (DCAU) and the film universe (DCEU).
The full Arrowverse currently includes the live-action shows Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow. There are also two animated shows in the universe: Vixen and Freedom Fighters: The Ray. There is a huge cast of characters between the six shows (and a seventh show is going to be added soon). Many characters were created in one show, but currently star in another. And the actors often guest star in the other shows. So it be can be tricky to remember which character belongs to which show.
