A world without bad guys sounds like a good idea but then who would our favorite movie heroes get to battle against? If there were no villains there would be no storylines for our favorite heroes, nothing for them to overcome and that sounds really, really boring. We need the bad guys just as much as we need the heroes; we need someone to root for and while heroes help us believe that good can triumph over evil, bad guys are there to remind us that not everyone we meet has good intentions.
But not all villains are created equal. With some of them, you wouldn't even know you were dealing with a bad guy or girl until it was too late. They prefer to hide in the shadows, often behind the mask of respectability. Other villains make no attempt to conceal their evil intentions; they want everyone to know their agenda and to fear them.
Today we want you to rate these movie villains and tell us whether you think they were terrifying, tame or somewhere in-between. You decide which ones were overrated or underrated and at the end, we'll reveal which of these villains you could defeat in a stand-off!
