There are some moments in life that are too rich to forget, and reading the first Harry Potter book is one of them. While many of us were introduced to this book in a school-setting, some of us had it dropped on our lap by loving parents or friends. There is something special about the Harry Potter series that no other author has managed to master. While a good portion of this has to do with the magical world, there is a hidden meaning behind every word that keeps us readers coming back for more.
One would think that inventing a whole other world would be impossible to do, but authors like J.K. Rowling have proved that it is not. On top of creating the wizarding world as we know it, J.K. Rowling also put a wide range of names into our minds. These wizards might have been born in the corners of our mind's imagination, but they were eventually given a face on the big screen.
The following wizards might all have something fun and spunky to offer, but their magical powers definitely differ from one another. So, muggle, rate their skills and we'll reunite you with a would-be magical bestie.
Hermione Granger
Hermione Granger might be the daughter of muggles, but she is a witch in every sense of the word. Without her extensive knowledge and stubbornness, Harry and Ron would never have accomplished what they had. She is a wicked witch with a heart of gold, and we love her for it!
Professor Severus Snape
From the get go, every single reader was led to believe that Professor Severus Snape was an evil follower of Lord Voldemort. However, it was eventually decreed that he was the opposite of this. While his teaching methods and way of being might have been alarming, he was a good guy after all.
Professor Albus Dumbledore
If there is one Harry Potter character that we can't help but love, it's the one and only Professor Albus Dumbledore. This incredibly honest and selfless man took it upon himself to love and nurture thousands of students, year after year. In the end, he gave his life to the cause.
