The art of a wrestling match can give us a stinker as easily as it can provide a masterpiece. Every wrestler wants to leave a memorable performance that the fans enjoy. That's essentially the role of wrestlers in a major promotion such as WWE. Some wrestlers can get by on theatrics and personality without having to deliver the best in-ring work. Others pride themselves on having the best matches on the card. Most wrestlers will have to deliver at least competent matches to find success, especially in today’s landscape where work rate is more important than ever.
We'll take a look at a plethora of wrestlers in terms of how well they performed in the ring. Things like physique, promo skills, and charisma will be excluded as we focus on the actual in-ring work of each performer listed. You'll give your judgment of whether the wrestler is awesome or awful in the ring for each name listed. At the end of the quiz, we'll rate your ability to spot if these wrestlers have had generally good matches or stinky ones. Seth Rollins
The current work of Seth Rollins has seen him become a top star for WWE as they try to build the company around new faces. Rollins was the first member of The Shield to win the WWE World Championship. WWE has made it clear that they want him to be a long-term fixture in the company. How do you rate his wrestling work?

The legendary Randy Savage is remembered fondly by fans of the '80s and the '90s. Savage had a larger-than-life personality and a colorful style that helped him stand apart from the rest of the wrestlers in the industry. The legend of Scott Steiner saw him have a strong career in WCW. An evolution from being a tag-team wrestler to being a singles star saw him adopt the Big Poppa Pump character. Steiner started to live the gimmick by becoming one of the most dangerous and unpredictable men in the business. How do you rate his matches as a singles star?
Bayley
Bayley is one of the ladies who helped create the women’s revolution in WWE. The lovable character in NXT connected with the fanbase and made her one of the most entertaining pure babyfaces WWE has had in many years. Bayley’s main-roster run has been less successful thus far. Is Bayley a good wrestler in the squared circle?
Nia Jax
Another woman receiving a big opportunity on the main roster after working for NXT is Nia Jax. As the cousin of The Rock, she received the developmental contract due to her potential. Jax adds another element to the ring, as she's one of the larger ladies to get hired and pushed by WWE. Do you think she's awesome or awful?
Bray Wyatt
The character work of Bray Wyatt is rather fascinating for the wrestling industry. Wyatt has tried to give us a character that blurs the lines between wanting to succeed at wrestling and wanting to start a bizarre revolution in life. Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns is the most polarizing man in the wrestling business today. The push of Reigns as the face of WWE has had many fans rejecting him in loud fashion for many years. Roman also has his vocally supportive fans, thus resulting in two sides of fans trying to battle it out in chants and cheers or jeers when it comes to him. Jeff Hardy
The return of Matt and Jeff Hardy to WWE at WrestleMania 33 gave the company a huge moment that's still talked about today. Jeff, particularly, had a strong WWE career reaching the top of the mountain as a former WWE Champion. At his peak, his popularity was as strong as John Cena's. How do you rate Jeff’s in-ring work?
Jinder Mahal
Jinder Mahal has been positioned as one of the top villains currently in WWE. The push came out of nowhere to make him the WWE Champion for the majority of 2017. There was a great deal of controversy with regard to a career-enhancement talent being made the champion out of nowhere. Is Jinder good in the ring?
Sid
The '90s was the hottest time period for wrestling with both WWE and WCW being viewed as huge mainstream promotions. Sid is one of the few men to win both the WWE and WCW world titles, proving he was a successful star. Do you consider Sid to be awesome or awful when it comes to the actual wrestling aspect of the job?
AJ Styles
AJ Styles is currently getting the push of a lifetime in WWE. After a long road in other promotions, Styles finally joined WWE in 2016 and has been a main-event fixture for most of his run. Fans give AJ among the biggest ovations every single week. What's your opinion of Styles as a wrestler?

Shawn Michaels is often in the debate when discussing the biggest stars in WWE history. His runs in the '90s and the 2000s helped cement his status as a legend. Many of the current WWE stars view him as their inspiration for becoming wrestlers. Is the legendary Michaels a great or awful wrestler?
Lex Luger
WCW gave us some of the top stars of the industry in the '90s. Lex Luger was a consistent performer in the main-event picture for the promotion, as it competed with WWE in the Monday Night Wars. The career of Luger saw him win the WCW Championship on multiple occasions. Was Luger a good wrestler?

A current WWE star trying to make his way to legendary status is Kevin Owens. The unconventional star has become a top name for the company, holding WWE gold for the majority of his time in the company. Someone WWE fans would like to see return to the company is CM Punk. The controversial figure had a tremendous run with WWE, establishing himself as a legend. However, a disagreement with how the company was using him led to him walking out in frustration. How did you view Punk as an in-ring worker?
Rey Mysterio
The legendary Rey Mysterio broke down barriers in WWE. Mysterio proved that size didn’t matter in the WWE Universe by becoming a huge draw the company still misses in various demographics today. The success of Mysterio saw him win both the WWE Championship and the World Championship despite being only 5’4’’ tall. How do you feel about Rey in the ring?
Ultimate Warrior
Another legend to get over with a colorful look was the Ultimate Warrior. The '80s saw him become the only threat to Hulk Hogan being the face of the promotion. Various controversial decisions saw Warrior self-destruct backstage to end his run at the top faster than expected. Was Warrior awesome or awful in the ring?
Shinsuke Nakamura
Shinsuke Nakamura is currently trying to cement his own legacy as a unique performer. The personality and the style of Nakamura make him unlike any other wrestler in the industry. Nakamura gets a huge pop just walking to the ring during his entrance. Is Nakamura any good once the bell rings?
Elias
Elias is also hoping to get over with a unique character. The guitar skills of Elias are on display each week as he annoys the fans with his songs before matches, his opponents often interrupting him. The recent ESPN 30 for 30 special has introduced Ric Flair to many new fans. Flair’s story saw him become a massive star for NWA/WCW in the '80s by creating a viable competitor to WWE. The promos of Flair are still quoted by athletes today. Taking his promos out of the equation, was Flair a great wrestler?
Daniel Bryan
Daniel Bryan is now the General Manager of Smackdown and is semi-retired from the ring. However, the goal of Bryan is to return to the wrestling ring in 2018 since he gets more joy out of that than cutting promos. WWE seems content to just have him as the General Manager. How did you view Bryan as an in-ring performer?
Stephanie McMahon
The McMahon family has consistently been on WWE television since the late 90s. All four members of the family have had roles in different forms. Stephanie McMahon is currently the Commissioner of Raw, but she does have experience wrestling in the WWE. Was Stephanie any good during her time in the ring?
Shane McMahon
Similar to his sister Stephanie, Shane McMahon currently has a Commissioner role running Smackdown live. Shane wrestles a handful of times per year and wrestled quite often in the early 2000s. Most fans remember Shane’s matches for the dangerous spots jumping off tall structure. Is he a good wrestler in general when the bell rings?
Neville
A surprisingly controversial name in WWE right now is Neville. The former Cruiserweight Champion was fed up with being underutilized and requested his release. Chris Jericho is one of the most decorated wrestlers in the history of the business. The WWE tenure of Jericho has seen him win almost every title possible through the years. A recent decision of going to New Japan for one night to face Kenny Omega shows that he still wants to contribute to the business. Is Jericho as awesome in the ring as his success dictates?

Carmella made history earlier this year when she became the first woman to win the Money in the Bank ladder match. WWE wants the women’s division to be treated as credible as the men’s and allowed the ladies to have the MITB match. Carmella was selected as the right woman to be the first winner. Enzo Amore is arguably the most controversial man in WWE today given his backstage attitude. The WWE wrestlers kicked him out of the locker room due to his ego, but WWE has made him the face of the cruiserweight division. Do you consider Enzo to be a good wrestler or not?

Big Show is nearing the end of his legendary career. WWE employed him for over eighteen years and placed him in just about every character possible. Big Show has stated that he is happy with how his career went and is looking forward to retiring sooner than later. Was Big Show good in the ring?

The tall stature and athleticism of Cass make him quite valuable to Vince McMahon and everyone else involved in management. Cass had a short run as a singles star before the injury.
