Unfortunately for most of us, we are relegated to watching the overly romantic tales from the comfort of our couches, while we stuff our faces with what ever ice cream we have left in the freezer. These movies act as some what of a comfort to a lot of us though, maybe giving us hope, or maybe they're just good to have around for a laugh. We are not really sure how this one got classified as a Rom-Com. True, it's funny at times, and Zooey Deschanel has proven herself to be comedic gold in her hit show New Girl, but still this movie is revolves around a couples intense love, than rather sudden break-up. Funnily enough, the cult classic in question here isn't there only Rom-Com together, the duo is unstoppable, and their chemistry undeniable! Knocked Up

Another hilarious classic. It's a very bold move to cast Seth Rogan as a lead in a Rom-Com, but man did it ever pay off. What is most ironic about this film, is if you were to ask the writers who they regret casting the most, it would no doubt be Rom-Com regular Katherine Heigl. While she played her character well, after the film was released she does what she always tends to do, and dissed her own film. Not cool.

This movie is truly a master piece. Not only did it lead to Jennifer Lawrence's first Oscar win, but it also opened our eyes to the on screen magic between herself, and Bradley Cooper. The two do an incredible job at playing characters suffering from, depression, and other mental health issues. Honestly if you have skipped it in the past we recommend re-thinking.

One living in a California mansion, one living in a sweet little home in an England village. The only problem we can see with this film is that one of the two leading men is, Jack Black...who casts Jacks Black in a Rom-Com?!

We just love these two together, Adam, and Drew's chemistry is just so perfect for this type of film. Drew Barrymore plays a women who tragically has no long term memory. Every night her memory wipes clean, causing her to re-live the same day over, and over. Once Adam Sandler's character meets her he knows there's only one thing that can be done...he has to make her fall in love with him all over again each day.

Amy plays a scared of commitment, magazine writer. The way she's always lived her while life is challenged however when she is put on a story about dreamy sports doctor Aaron Conners.

This one is surprisingly hilarious. I mean of course it's labeled a Rom-Com so it should be funny, but this movie actually has some really big laughs within it. Kate Hudson is trying to write an article on how to ditch a guy, only issue is she's fallen in love with the guy she's supposed to be ditching... Watch or skip?

Man, this movie is funny. It's no secret that putting Vince Vaughn, and Owen Wilson, together in a film is comedy gold, but add in Amy Adams, and Rachel McAdams, and you've got yourself a hilarious and romantic film. Vaughn, and Wilson, play notorious wedding crashers, who take it too far during one wedding.

We must ask again. how does Jack Black keep landing roles in Rom-Coms? I guess in this one he is a little less out of place than the others. Another Sandy. B classic. We really do love her. She plays a lawyer, who is treated more as an assistant by her boss George. She is his go-to for everything from law inquiries, to dating advice. His character alone makes the film worth watching. That is not to say that Ben, and Jen don't do a fantastic job on their part either.

Sorry to spoil this for anyone who hasn't watched it yet, but this movie is literally about a horrible break-up. If you watched only the first half, and thought "man, why even continue, they obviously get back together" you could not have been more wrong. This may be the Rom-Com with the least happy ending ever. Watch or skip?

A popular high school boy, seems to have the world figured out. He has a super hot girlfriend, and all the friends he could ever need. This isn't just a classic Rom-Com, but a holiday time favorite as well. It actually is a deeply funny movie. Ryan Reynolds was an overweight kid, living in a small town, not an easy situation.
