While the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been going strong for ten years now, the smash success of all of the Marvel movies hasn't always been the case. There were some interesting movies and TV shows during the seventies, but in 1986, Howard The Duck made his big screen debut under the producer eye of George Lucas. Too bad the movie is held in the same regard as some of Lucas’ Star Wars Prequels.

As it stands right now, between several independent movies, Disney, Fox, and New Line Cinema, there are over fifty live action comic book films based on Marvel movies alone, there are plenty to choose from for just about every type of movie taste out there.

Instead of When Harry Met Sally it was when Charles Met Erik, as the X-Men franchise went back in time to the freewheelin’ sixties and fans got to see how Xavier and Magneto would go on to form the X-Men and avert World War III during the Cuban Missile crisis, and watch Erik completely go to the dark side, when he murders Sebastian Shaw, the mutant who tortured him years ago in the concentration camp.

Much like other Disney flicks, Big Hero 6 is a heart-warming adventure of Hiro Hamada, a robotics prodigy grieving over the loss of his brother. Hiro finishes his brother’s invention, Baymax, and uses it to help find the one who took his brother's life, alongside all of their engineer friends, becoming real life superheroes in the process.
