They say that money makes the world go 'round, but we'd like to beg to differ. After all, it's pretty obvious that hockey makes the world spin on its axis. Millions of fans join forces to support their favorite NHL teams every single year, and they do this without ever missing a beat. When it comes to sports, it's safe to say that hockey and football aren't taken with a grain of salt, hence why hockey fanatics outnumber us everywhere we go. The National Hockey League is jam-packed with excellent players, many of which we can't help but gawk over. Some players are so skilled at what they do, that even their opposing teammates can't help but applaud their stellar moves and plays.
Although hockey might be a competitive sport like any other, it creates a league of athletes that know what it means to play like it's their last day on Earth. After all, it's rare that we'll see an NHL player complaining about a minor cut or bruise. Hockey players are as tough as nails, and so are their fans.
