However, only the most fierce and talented competitors get the chance to join the world's most prestigious league. Whereas some people play for fun, others grow up wanting nothing more than to play professional ball. And sometimes, their dreams come true. Hard work and dedication are two factors that can't be ignored when training to become the next big NBA star. So, it goes without saying that talent scouts keep an eye out for players who live and breathe basketball.
The NBA was formed in 1946 and has since then become the most-watched basketball competition in the world. The league is composed of thirty amazing teams who go above and beyond to put on jaw-dropping matches. Although a handful of teams shine brighter than the rest, new players emerge onto the scene every single year, and manage to switch up the game. Whereas some players get drafted during their first year of college, others have to wait a little longer to accomplish their life's goal.
