Play "Marry or Divorce" With These Grey's Anatomy Doctors To Get The Perfect McHusband

Grey's Anatomy has been in the public consciousness since it first premiered back in 2005. For years fans have watched this show on the edge of their seats, just waiting to see what is going to happen next. The characters on this show have made us laugh, cry, and even dance from time to time. The fact that this show has been on the air for 15 seasons, and still has enough fans to keep going is a mighty impressive thing. What is even more impressive about this series? Well, its super attractive cast of course!

In this quiz, we are going to pay tribute to all of the doctors we have loved over the past 15 seasons. Some we have lost, and some we are still watching weekly, but all of them will always hold a special place in our hearts. Today, we will list 40 of the most memorable doctors we have seen so far.  All everyone here has to do is select which ones they would "marry" and which they would "divorce". Once all of the votes have been cast, we will tally up the results and dish out some truly handsome McHusbands to everyone! Get ready for this one, things are about to heat up!

Question 1

Shane Ross

When we first met Shane, he was an eager intern. He was originally very drawn to neurosurgery, so naturally he tried to get in close with Dr. Shepherd. At first he did show real promise in the specialty, but one of his fellow interns ended up being the star of neurosurgery, forcing Shane to explore the options. Shane began working closely with Dr. Yang in the cardio department, and the two of them made quite a pair. When Dr. Yang decided to leave Seattle Grace to further her research, Shane went along with her.

Question 2

Robert Stark

Robert Stark was the cranky replacement to Dr. Robbins. Since Arizona Robbins was such a beloved staff member before she left for Africa, people had an especially hard time warming up to her replacement. Stark's general attitude towards his co-workers and even his patients certainly did not help the transition process either. However, before leaving Seattle Grace, Dr. Stark was able to create a somewhat charming bond between himself and April Kepner. How is everyone here feeling about this guy? Marry or divorce?

Question 3

Jason Myers

Back when Jason Myers was part of the show, he was working as a resident in the obstetrics and gynecology department. We do not often get to know the doctors of that department very well, but since Jason was dating Jo Wilson, we did get to learn a little bit about him. He and Jo were only together for a brief period, and their break-up ended up being quite dramatic indeed. After the explosive end to their relationship, we have not heard one peep about what this guy has been up to.

Question 4

Richard Webber

Richard Webber was our fearless leader for the first stretch of this series. When season 1 first kicked off, Richard was the Chief of Surgery. He took his job extremely seriously, and his doctors all had nothing but respect for him. However, as time went on, he found juggling his personal life and his work duties to be very hard to handle. He eventually decided to take a step back. Nowadays, Richard is working as a top-notch general surgeon, and he is in charge of educating all of the new interns.

Derek Shepherd

Derek Shepherd was our leading man. He was a world famous neurosurgeon, and he was also the husband of Meredith Grey herself. When the series first started, Derek had just split from his wife and had moved to Seattle. He met Meredith on one of his first nights in the city, and the two of them had been obsessed with each other ever since. They went through many ups and downs, but eventually found themselves married and the happy parents of three children. Sadly, Derek was not there to see the birth of his third child, but his memory will live on forever.

Meredith Grey

So, if we are going to talk Derek Shepherd, it is only fitting that we also discuss how we feel about Dr. Grey. Meredith did not exactly have an easy childhood. Her father was not around, and her mother was so famous in the medical world that she would often forget that she had a daughter at all. This sad fact did not prevent Meredith from following in her mothers footsteps however, and these days Meredith is making just as many waves in the medical world as her mother did.

Charles Percy

Charles Percy was not part of the show for very long, but his unexpected exit from the series would certainly be tough for anyone to forget. Charles originally came to Seattle Grace as a transfer from Mercy West. When the two hospitals merged, we got a few new doctors and Charles was one of them. During his time at Seattle Grace, Charles did not make a lasting impression in any field really, but his bravery during his final episode will be something we remember forever.

Question 8

Amelia Shepherd

Amelia Shepherd is just one of Derek's many sisters. She is however, the one we got to know the most. Amelia, like her brother, is a neurosurgeon. In the past, she had struggled with many personal demons, but she eventually was able to put them behind her, allowing her to be able to follow her passion. Now, Amelia has taken over Derek's position at Seattle Grace, and she has made it her mission to try and cure anyone she believes her brother would have been able to.

Owen Hunt

After Richard Webber stepped down from being Chief of Surgery, Owen Hunt was the one who stepped in to take over. He had once been a surgeon in the army, so his leadership skills made him the optimal choice. Owen made a great chief, and all of his fellow doctors really enjoyed working for him. He held the position for many years, but in an attempt to get back to enjoying surgery as much as he once did, he eventually decided to drop the chief gig.

Nathan Riggs

Nathan Riggs was once Owen Hunt's best friend. The two of them had gone through medical school together, and had even worked along side each other in the army. After Nathan betrayed Owen's sister though, their friendship hit a real snag. Once Nathan had decided to come and work at Seattle Grace however, the two were able to mend things. During his time at Seattle Grace, Nathan also became the first love interest Meredith had after Derek's passing. What is everyone's take on Dr. Riggs?

Christina Yang

Christina Yang was possibly the most gifted surgeon we ever saw on the show. Even back when she was an intern, all of the doctors knew she was the one to watch out for. Dr. Yang always had a real passion for cardio, and she refused to consider specializing anywhere else. After completing all of her training at Seattle Grace, Christina was made an offer that she could not turn down. She was offered the chance to take charge of her very own research hospital. The choice was obvious...

Denny Duquette

Okay, so technically Denny was not a doctor, but it is hard to list the men of this show without also giving Denny his moment in the sun. Denny Duquette was a cardio patient at Seattle Grace Hospital. His heart had been bad for many years, but he was hopeful that they would find him a transplant. Denny ended up starting a relationship with one of the original interns, and things quickly got out of hand to say the least. Denny sadly never made it out of the hospital...

Stephanie Edwards

Stephanie Edwards entered the show as part of a new group of interns. After their very first day, it was already pretty clear that Stephanie was the one to look out for. She showed real promise, in not just one, but in all of the specialties. She ended up getting very close to Amelia Shepherd, and she became her right-hand woman for most of her surgeries. However, after Stephanie went through some pretty challenging events, she decided to take a break from her education all together. Sometimes we all just need a break...

Andrew DeLuca

Andrew DeLuca was also someone who entered the show as a new intern. His first day however, was not as impressive as Stephanie Edwards's. Andrew had been running late on his very first day at Seattle Grace, and he ended up coming in along with an ambulance he had seen on his way to the hospital. Once arriving, he told the doctors that he was also a surgeon! Obviously, they quickly found out that he was lying and he was in fact an intern. Not the best way to make a first impression...

Finn Dandridge

So, Finn Dandridge was never actually affiliated with Seattle Grace Hospital at all. He was actually Meredith's vet. During the second season of the series, Derek was trying to give his marriage a second shot. This caused Meredith to go looking elsewhere. She and Finn hit it off, and they became a couple. Since her heart had always belonged to Derek, this relationship was never going to work, but Finn had always been extremely respectful. How does everyone here feel about this veterinarian?

Erica Hahn

After Preston Burke left Seattle Grace, they were in desperate need of a new Head of Cardio. Erica Hahn was well known for her work, so the chief decided to select her for the position. She had a very firm attitude, but her skills were undeniable. After some time at the hospital, Erica wound up in a relationship with Callie Torres. The relationship could have potentially lasted longer, had Erica not discovered a few of the hospital's secrets, causing her to leave her position for good.

Jackson Avery

Jackson Avery was another resident who came along when Seattle Grace merged with Mercy West. Jackson had been best friends with Charles Percy, and his passing affected Jackson quite a bit. After some time at Seattle Grace, it was discovered that Jackson was part of the famous Avery clan. Jackson's family was the most famous one in the entire medical world. However, Jackson tried very hard to separate himself, so his talents could be judged without influence. What are everyone's thoughts on Jackson?

Question 18

April Kepner

April Kepner was yet another transfer from Mercy West. Of all the doctors that came from the merger, April had the hardest time adjusting. Since she was so much of a perfectionist by nature, the other doctors had a tough time warming up to her. Eventually though, April was able to make a few good friends, and she began to really excel in the trauma surgery department. She later went on to marry Jackson Avery. While they were not able to make their relationship last, they did remain loving co-parents to their daughter.

Mark Sloan

Mark Sloan or "McSteamy", was once the most famous plastic surgeon to ever work at Seattle Grace Hospital. He was the childhood best friend of Derek Shepherd, and the two had previously worked together in New York. However, after Derek caught Mark with his wife, their friendship naturally took a hit. Still, Mark was determined to make things right, so he moved to Seattle to try and win Derek's friendship back. After some time, the two mended things, but sadly Mark's time was limited...

Lexie Grey

Lexie Grey was the first half-sister of Meredith's that we got to know. Of course, when we first met Lexie we did not realize just how many secret sisters Meredith had. Lexie was an intern at Seattle Grace, and because she had a photographic memory, she was a very brilliant intern indeed. She showed promise in multiple different departments, but sadly she was never given the chance to pursue any of them. Lexie had been part of the famous plane crash, and she was one of the few who did not survive it.

Alex Karev

Alex Karev was one of our original interns. He has been with the show since the very beginning, and he is one of the few still working at Seattle Grace Hospital. During his time as an intern, Alex was viewed as being a bad guy. Of course, he often did bad-guy things, but over time his sensitive side started to shine through. By this point in the series, he is a beloved pediatric surgeon. His character development has been an impressive thing to watch to say the least.

Leah Murphy

Leah Murphy was part of Stephanie Edwards's intern group. At first she seemed very dedicated, but over time it became clear that her skills were not at the same level as her fellow interns. Leah had a tendency to let relationships distract her, and in the world of surgery, there is just no room for distractions. Eventually she was let go from the program, but after returning to her studies and working tirelessly, she she was given a second chance at Seattle Grace Hospital.

George O'Malley

George was another original intern. He was always seen as the underdog of his group, but a lot of the senior doctors saw promise in him. He was a hard worker, and he was excellent with patient care. Even with these strengths though, George was forced to repeat his intern year. Just when it was looking like George had finally figured out what he wanted to do with his life, he was prematurely taken from us. George was the first major loss we experienced with this show.

Question 24

Arizona Robbins

Dr. Robbins was the first pediatric surgeon we ever met at Seattle Grace Hospital. She was excellent at her job, and many families would travel from around the world just to have her as their doctor. She was the one responsible for training and ultimately calming down Dr. Karev. She was eventually offered the chance to study under Nicole Herman, who was one of the few fetal surgeons in the world. Arizona took the opportunity and switched specialties, allowing Dr. Karev to take over the pediatric ward.

Thatcher Grey

Thatcher Grey was not only Meredith's father, but Lexie's as well. Thatcher had never been around while Meredith was growing up, but he had been an excellent father to Lexie. Thatcher had tried to make amends with Meredith, but things became difficult for the two of them after his wife had passed. Thatcher went into a downward spiral after losing his wife, and Meredith unfortunately got the brunt of his grief. Was anyone here a big fan of this character?

Ben Warren

Ben Warren is a funny guy. Technically yes, he is a doctor, but nobody can ever be sure what job he will actually be working at the end of any given year. When we first met Ben, he was a rock-star anesthesiologist. All of the surgeons wanted him working during their surgeries. However, after working so closely with the surgeons, he decided to pursue that job option himself. After completing several years of residency, Ben had another change of heart, and decided to go after a job as a firefighter.

Miranda Bailey

Miranda Bailey is another doctor who has been part of the show since day 1. She is actually now the wife of fickle Ben Warren, and she is also the current Chief of Surgery. Over the years, Miranda has proven herself to be an excellent general surgeon, but she always knew she wanted to be more. After putting up with many different chiefs, Miranda was finally able to nab the position for herself. How does everyone here feel about Dr. Miranda Bailey?

Callie Torres

Callie Torres is the self-titled "Ortho God" of Seattle Grace Hospital. When it comes to bones, nobody knows more than Dr. Torres. She has always been extremely well respected in her field of work, but her personal life has unfortunately not gone as smoothly. When we first met Callie, she was in a relationship with George O'Malley. The two of them got married, but were later divorced in that same season. She then went on to date Eric Hahn, Mark Sloan, and Arizona Robbins. Callie left the series a couple seasons back to follow her girlfriend to NYC.

Henry Burton

Once again, we recognize that Henry was a patient and not a doctor, but how could we not mention him in a quiz like this? Henry was another cardio patient. He was always in and out of the hospital, which made it hard for him to keep a job. Due to his lack of insurance, he was no longer able to afford the pricey medical procedures his heart needed. That is when Dr. Altman stepped in and decided to marry him so he could benefit from her insurance. Sure, it wasn't the most romantic wedding ever, but the two did end up falling for each other down the line.

Teddy Altman

Since we just covered Henry, we figured Dr. Altman was the next logical place to go. Teddy Altman worked as the Head of Cardio for quite some time at Seattle Grace Hospital. She had once been a surgeon in the army alongside Owen Hunt. That is how she ended up getting the job at Seattle Grace. At first not everyone was on board with her, but after she got to show off her cardio skills, everyone else fell in line. She has actually recently made a comeback onto the show, so we are all waiting to see how that goes...

Dylan Young

Dylan Young was not a doctor, but he did end up being involved with one of the larger surgeries we ever saw happen on the show. Dylan was the head of the local bomb squad. When a patient got into an unfortunate position with a bazooka, Dylan and his team were called in to help. For those who are remembering correctly, Dylan unfortunately did not make it out of the situation alive, but his heroic actions did save the lives of many that day.

Maggie Pierce

Maggie Pierce was the second half-sister of Meredith's that we got to know. Maggie and Meredith shared the same mother. When Meredith was just a child, her mother had gotten pregnant in secret. She decided she did not want to keep the baby, so she gave it up for adoption without anybody realizing the baby had ever existed. Of course, these things have a way of coming out eventually. Maggie was a child genius, and graduated med school way before anyone else. She took a job at Seattle Grace with hopes that she would learn more about here family.

Jo Wilson

Jo Wilson was yet another intern who came along about half way through the series. She was never the top intern, but she was also never on the bottom. She worked very hard to remain in the program, and eventually the work paid off. During her final year of residency she was made Chief Resident. She has also recently married her long-time boyfriend Alex Karev. After a rough past, it finally seems as though things are working out for Jo Wilson. Marry or divorce?

Kyle Diaz

Here we have another patient, but come on, when Wilmer Valderrama guest stars on a show, you put him in the quiz. Kyle was a patient with a brain tumor. He was also a very talented musician. When his medical condition started to affect his ability to play music, he knew something had to be done about it. He went to Seattle Grace Hospital with the hopes that someone there would be able to cure him once and for all. While he did not get the cure he had been looking for, he did wind up falling in love...

William Thorpe

William Thorpe was a surgeon, but he was never employed by Seattle Grace Hospital. While out on a recovery mission, Meredith and a few others met William at his own hospital. He wasn't their favorite guy at first, but Meredith was attracted to him. She gave him her number, and he became the first guy she went out on a date with after Derek's passing. Of course, it was only ever the one date, as she was just not ready. Poor William should have left the situation alone...

Addison Montgomery

Dr. Montgomery was the wife of Derek Shepherd when the series first began. Of course, we did not find out that she existed until the end of the first season. In the following seasons we learned that Addison was a top-notch OB-GYN. She took her job very seriously, but she was also determined to win back her husband. After witnessing Derek's connection with Meredith however, she realized there was no hope left for them. Addison went on to star in her very own spin-off series!

Izzie Stevens

Izzie Stevens was another original intern. In fact, she was the one who got into a relationship with Denny Duquette while he was one of her patients. While their relationship had been frowned upon for obvious reasons, Izzie would surely tell us that she has no regrets. She loved Denny very much, and after his passing she had a really hard time getting back to the person she had once been. Izzie has since left the show, and we do not think she will ever be returning.

Raj Sen

Raj Sen is an interesting character. He works as a psychiatrist at Seattle Grace Hospital, so we only ever see him when there is a crazy person around somewhere. He has very little patience when it comes to surgeons, as he feel as though they do not respect his profession. We have seen surgeons steal his patients on many different occasions, as well as drop off patients they do not wish to treat themselves. His prejudice is fairly merited. What do we think of this doctor?

Lucy Fields

When Lucy Fields was a part of the show, she was working as an OB-GYN resident. She was fairly good at her job, and it was her who cared for Callie Torres during her pregnancy. She had a brief relationship with Alex Karev, but that ultimately ended when she stole a job right out from under him. Somethings are just too tough to come back from... Since leaving the show, we have heard nothing about this character, so we must base our decision off of what we know!

Preston Burke

Preston Burke was the very first Head of Cardio we ever knew at Seattle Grace Hospital. He was known around the world for his work, and this was something he certainly let go to his head. To say this man was confident, would be the understatement of the year. In the first season he began an intense relationship with Christina Yang. The two almost got married, but he left her at the alter in the final moments before they were to be wed.
