Alright, enough chatting. Let's dive in!
Own a giant yacht or a private island?
While neither of these options is a bad choice by any means, we might be faced with the issue of having too much space on our hands. But there's an easy solution to that - just invite all of our friends along for a wild day, week, year, or eternity of partying.
McDonald's or KFC?
These two fast-food chains are powerhouses not only in North America, but across the world. McDonald's (or Macca's, as they call it in Australia) sells the Big Mac, McNuggets, Happy Meals, Quarter Pounders, and the Filet-o-Fish. Over at KFC, they specialise in Original Recipe fried chicken, created by the Colonel himself.
Skiing or surfing?
Neither of these sports is easy to learn, but once we've got the hang of them, each is seriously fun! Lovers of winter might prefer to shred some powder on the slopes, while fans of summer might prefer to hit the beach and catch a few waves. Which one tickles your fancy?
Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings?
We're faced here with two of the most astonishing fantasy creations to have ever hit the big screen. Each of these legendary series - one written by J. K. Rowling, and one by J. R. R. Tolkien - are formidable and beloved in their own right. So will you choose the wand or the ring?
Matt Damon or Leonardo DiCaprio?
There's almost too much talent in this question for us to handle, but we'll do our best. Matt Damon has impressed over the years in The Martian, Ocean's Eleven, The Bourne series, and Good Will Hunting. As for Leonardo DiCaprio, he's turned heads in Titanic, Catch Me If You Can, The Wolf of Wall Street, and Inception.
Coffee or tea?
In the busy, non-stop world that we find ourselves in, many of us rely on coffee as a stimulus to get us awake and ready for a big day. On the other hand, some people prefer the calming and relaxing effects of a good cup of tea. Which will you choose?
The mountains or the forest?
For anyone with a little bit of adventure in their heart, scaling the peaks of Mt. Everest or Mt. Kilimanjaro might be atop many bucket lists. However, for most of us 'regular' folk, we can enjoy pristine mountain views from the car, train, or the base. On the other hand, perhaps the green bliss of nature's forests entice you just a little more.
The Simpsons or Family Guy?
While there is no denying the success of The Simpsons, which is now hovering at around 30 consecutive seasons (and still counting), some people have started to find it a little passé and dried out. We've pitted it up against Family Guy, which although is no newcomer to the world of TV either, is aimed at a more mature (or immature, if you consider the types of crude jokes) audience.
Football or Hockey?
For the diehard sports fanatics out there, this one might be divisive. In North America, the NFL and the NHL are two of the premier sporting leagues, attracting an enormous amount of fans all across the region. Hockey is a little more widespread, with a number of teams based in Canada, but the NFL crowds simply can't be matched.
Soccer or Basketball?
Soccer is known as 'The World Game', and that's a pretty accurate representation of the sport which is loved all over the world. There is plenty of exceptionally professional soccer fixtures (EPL, La Liga, Champions League, FIFA World Cup, etc.) On the other hand, basketball, while certainly played across the globe, has a dominant league and representation in the form of the NBA, played solely across North America.
Nike or Adidas?
While these two powerhouse brands create a variety of clothing and sporting products, they're mostly known for their footwear. People are loyal to their brand of kicks, and since Adidas and Nike are two of the world's biggest labels, we have a feeling that this question will create a fair bit of divide.
Beef burgers or chicken burgers?
We hope that you're hungry, because this one might just get the stomach rumbling. Beef burgers are classic - there's no denying that. If you order a 'burger' at the majority of restaurants across the US, you'll be served beef. Chicken, on the other hand, is definitely preferred by many, and can be equally nutritious and delicious.
Flat water or sparkling water?
It's a debate that has stood the test of time and doesn't look like it will be disappearing anytime soon. The importing thing to consider here is that humans need water, and that's just a fact. So, at the end of the day, whichever method you prefer is simply a vessel to keep up above ground another day!
Marvel or DC?
It's the age-old question for any lover of comics and superheroes. While Marvel seems to have the upper hand recently thanks to the domination of the MCU, there's no denying that DC still boasts some of our favourite heroes. Marvel has Spider-Man, Hulk, Iron Man, and Captain America, while DC has Batman, Green Lantern, and Aquaman, to name just a few.
Taco Bell or Burger King?
Here we have a battle of the craving-quenchers when it comes to fast food. Sometimes, all we can think about is a taco (hello, Taco Bell!), while other times, we can't even think straight until we've got a juicy burger in our hands (enter, Burger King!). So, what's it gonna be?
Jessica Alba or Selena Gomez?
Both of these talented, gorgeous women have owned the screen at one point or another. Jessica Alba turned heads a handful of years ago with performances in films like Fantastic Four. On the other hand, Selena Gomez might be fresher to the entertainment scene, but she also boasts an impressive music portfolio.
South Park or BoJack Horseman?
While these two animated shows haven't received quite the acclaim that The Simpsons and Family Guy have over the years, they each have massively dedicated audiences. South Park is an adult-rated show set mostly around children, while BoJack Horseman shows viewers an insight into the world of Hollywood through a half-man, half-horse.
Chocolate or vanilla?
There's no middle ground for this one - you're just gonna have to choose. People either love chocolate as a flavour and think vanilla is 'just okay', or the other way around. This predicament can often be noticed when trying to order ice cream, cake, or a thirst-crushing milkshake or thickshake.
Sweet potato fries or regular fries?
Everyone loves a hefty serving of fries alongside a burger, right? The classic fries have been around for as long as we can remember. But there's a new kid on the block and it comes in the form of sweet potato fries. We'd be happy with either, to be honest, but a choice needs to be made.
New York or Los Angeles?
It's East Coast versus West Coast and Pacific versus Atlantic in a battle of two of the country's prime, and most populated cities. New York, AKA The Big Apple, is a sprawling metropolis of skyscrapers, with Broadway, Central Park, and Lady Liberty to show off. Of course, New York can't compete with L.A when it comes to movies and Hollywood!
Australia or Canada?
While both of these countries are similar to the USA (and to each other) in a lot of ways, they are also seriously different. Canada has icy, beautiful winters and mountain ranges unlike anywhere else in the world (and poutine, of course). But Australia boasts sandy beaches, endless sunshine, and a strange, intriguing sport called 'footy'.
Buttered popcorn or plain popcorn?
Whether we're nestling in for a quiet movie night on the couch or making an evening of it at the cinema with our friends, there's a high chance that this particular savoury snack will be involved. Some people prefer it plain, without added calories and sticky butter, but others say 'why the heck not!'.
Sleeping in or waking up early?
No matter how hard we try, some of us just can't wake up early, even if we've set 15 alarm clocks to try to do so. But there are plenty of people who relish the early mornings and the fresh air, looking forward to a productive day. Enough talk... it's time to choose!
Be rich or be famous?
While some may argue that these two go hand in hand, that isn't always the case. Some extroverted people love being the constant centre of attention, but plenty of others literally could not think of anything more intimidating. Being rich has its pros and cons as well, of course, and it can sometimes be a burden.
Odd socks or matching socks?
Often we're faced with no choice and are forced to mix and match when one sock somehow disappears in the dryer, but we're pretending we have the option in this case. Some of us like to play on the straight and narrow, staying clean-cut and matching. Others don't mind showcasing a little wackiness!
Summer or winter?
We're playing with opposites here. There are plenty of snow bunnies out there who can't wait for winter to come around because it translates to skiing, snowmen, fashionable coats, and mulled wine. On the flip side, many of us eagerly await summer for the days on the beaches, ice cream, and poolside BBQs.
Country girls or city girls?
Usually, we'll tend to gravitate toward a partner who shares a similar background to us, but that isn't always the case - as the saying goes, 'opposites attract'! Does the idea of a laidback, outdoor-loving country gal tick your boxes, or is a go-getting city slicker more up your alley?
Classic tuxedo or something eccentric?
Whether it's for a wedding, dinner party, meeting the parents, or something else where style is important, most of us don't mind dressing up to the nines. While it's perfectly acceptable to don the classic black and white tux, some people have a flair for the eccentric, and go above and beyond (looking at you, Elton John).
Console gaming or computer gaming?
From Xbox to PlayStation and Nintendo, there are some great options for anyone who wants a Mario Kart, FIFA, or COD sesh. But there are plenty of gamers who won't touch anything other than a CPU. The world of gaming is divided, and you need to choose a side before you respawn.
Pokemon or Digimon?
From Pikachu to Bulbasaur, Charizard, and Mewtwo, the original 151 Pokemon captivated audiences (particularly the 90s and 00s kids. While it hasn't boasted the same longevity as Pokemon, Digimon (formally known as Digimon: Digital Monsters) certainly was able to obtain a loyal following when it was at its peak. So, what's in gonna be?
Cats or dogs?
Like it or not, you either fall into the Dog-person category or into the Cat-person category. Cats are more independent and don't require walking or as much exercise. Dogs, on the other hand, are usually a lot more loyal to their owners and require a little more of a commitment.
Fast cars or economical cars?
If someone were to offer us a Ferrari or a Lambo, we'd be pretty darn hard-pressed to refuse it. However, when we think about it logically, keeping one of these supercars is a lot more time-consuming and expensive than most of us realise. Sometimes it's just easier to get a Prius and forget about it.
Red or blue?
There's not a whole lot to consider for this particular question - it's a simple choice between two colours. Most people have either blue or red as their favourite colour, so it's time to choose. Roses, red wine and a rare steak or the sky above us and a handful of blueberries?
The Beatles or Coldplay?
There's no denying that both of these bands have been influential, but The Beatles take the cake in that regard, often considered the best band of all time. Some of their hits include Let It Be and Strawberry Fields Forever, while Coldplay boasts Yellow, Fix You, and Viva La Vida.
iPhone or Android?
It's the age-old question, and be age-old, we mean about a decade. iPhone users are as loyal as they come, often syncing their phones with Apple laptops and iPads. Then again, Android users are equally dedicated, and love the flexibility to customise and swap between brands such as Samsung and Google.
