There’s nothing better than coming home from a long day in the office and tuning into a show that takes place…in the office. Here is the thing though, these shows poke fun at all of the situations we go through every single day in the office world. We wish we could have the Office Olympics or talk to our boss the way they do at Dunder Mifflin, am I right? There is a certain funny bone that these shows hit because they are so true. We can relate to the characters because there is someone in our office that is just like them!

Who doesn’t have a prankster, the guy that is way too serious and follows all of the rules, the suck up, and the person the throws backhanded compliments at them all day in their office? We all do! Toby is one of those characters that just tries to get by, but is always slammed by someone in the office in one way or another. As a human resources representative, he always is the bearer of bad news, which doesn't always go over well with many people in the office, but he still pridefully does (tries to) do his job.

The three main characters in Workaholics are no way suited to do their jobs, but Anders "Ders" Holmvik is the most grown up of the three as he was the other two's RA in college. Sharing a cubicle together is awful adventurous as they are always getting into crazy schemes and misadventures during the work day.

Liz Lemon

Liz Lemon is described as being a "sexually frightened know-it-all" and head writer of TGS with Tracy Jordan. She was a nerd in high school that believes she was good friends with her classmate, Sheryl Crow; however, Sheryl describes her classmate as a loser. Liz used to do things like teach improv to senior citizens before she landed her gig.

Meredith is a tough nut to crack. On one hand she's always down to party and have a good time, but she's also kind of sleazy and appears to have some random debts to pay off all of the time. He's the guy at the party who would be everyone's friend, but wouldn't remember a single name the next day. He's what one would call a dim bulb with the gift of gab. Jack Donaghy is the decisive, controlling, suave network executive who must deal with unusual events at TGS, and when I say unusual I mean...buckle in because this ride is going to get bumpy kind of unusual. Jenna Maroney is the histrionic costar of TGS, and Liz's best friend. She is often shown as being extremely insecure about herself. Well, she is on television all of the time, so it seems to make sense. She is a typical prima donna that never learns her lesson, and that seems to be a running joke on the show.

Stanley is another tough nut to crack because he is so darn sassy. He usually isn't in such a great mood, and people are kind of afraid to say anything around him because he could flip his lid—it has happened. Let's start this off by saying Blake Henderson has a sweet bear costume. But in all reality, he's kind of a weirdo, but he's the type of weirdo that is kind of interesting because he has a lot to talk about. He enjoys pitting Adam and Anders against each other because, hey, entertainment, right? He fits in with phone sales nicely though.

Richard is timid and quiet, and does not have much of a temper, but when he finally reaches his limit, is prone to extreme explosions of anger. Richard is constantly struggling with the demands of the business world, preferring instead to disappear into the coding of his application, but realizes that as CEO he must do more.

Erlich Bachman is a supremely confident and arrogant entrepreneur who founded an innovation incubator in his home after the purchase of his airfare collator Aviato. Despite being relatively unsuccessful in his own entrepreneurial ventures, he is a competent public speaker and negotiator, and is often seen as the face of Pied Piper.

Oscar is a pretty calm and collected person for the most part, but he still likes to have a good time. His best friend in the office is Kevin Malone, and the two of them seem to keep The Annex fun although they share the space with Angela Martin. You've got to hand it to Oscar, he usually puts a good face on pretty much anything.

Andy is a bit of an odd ball, and also a bit of a newcomer to Dunder Mifflin as well since he wasn't there from the very beginning. He's a bit weird, but lovable at the same time.

Leslie serves as Deputy Director of the Parks and Recreation Department of the fictional city of Pawnee, Indiana. She hopes to become city manager one day so she can both improve her career and improve the city as well. Her ultimate goal is to become president of the United States, but she is a bit scatterbrained.

Andy is lazy and spoiled. At the beginning of the series, Andy is unemployed, but is the lead singer and guitarist for his rock band, which has gone through numerous names including Scarecrow Boat. With a little help from Leslie, he gets a job and gets back on his feet, but he has his pit falls of course.

Alice Murphy

Alice Murphy is a senior sales associate at TelAmeriCorp, and she is the branch manager of the Rancho Cucamonga TelAmeriCorp. She is the direct supervisor of Adam, Blake, and Anders. Alice was also promoted to her position shortly after the three were hired. She also gets a lot of flirting from Adam, which she is not cool with.

Creed Bratton

Creed is arguably the strangest person at Dunder Mifflin because of his antics. He stays under the radar all day long, but then you'll find out that he steals random things or is on random drugs or what not. Maybe he's hiding from the police one day or committed a crazy crime the next day. You never can tell with Creed.

Ron Swanson

He was Leslie Knope's superior as the head of the Pawnee Parks and Recreation Department until she left the department to become a city counselor, and then again when she rejoined the department after she was recalled. In late 2014, he quit the Parks department and started Very Good Building and Development Co. He has strong convictions and hates change. His perfect meal is a steak with whiskey, and no dinner conversation.

Tom Haverford

Tom Haverford works as Leslie Knope's immediate subordinate at the Pawnee parks and recreation department, often serving as her right-hand man. Tom displays an extremely sarcastic, mischievous and cocky attitude. He takes his appearance very seriously, often donning office-casual polo shirts and fancy suits. He is a serious entrepreneur with a few greats ideas (and many, not so good ideas). If he were your office bestie, he would still probably flirt with you.

Phyllis actually graduated with Michael Scott, but Michael always acts like she is so much older than him. He also shoots some pretty mean comments her way because she is a little quieter and he expects she will never fire back, but she sometimes does, to his surprise. Phyllis is full of surprises. Luckily, she also found true love with Bob Vance.

Ryan started out in the office as a temp, but then took a major step up to work in corporate over Michael Scott's head, much to Michael's surprise and dismay. Ryan has a cocky attitude that ends up getting him in some major trouble and costing him his job in the long run, but he gets his bottom of the totem pole job back eventually.

Kenneth is always smiling, excited and happy to do his menial job, which many people do not understand. Kenneth is a very awkward character and many people are constantly debating his age based on the comments he is constantly dropping all of the time. He also lets the world know that he loves working in television.

Kelly is the office drama queen as she is always playing people off of each other in order to get her way. She is also in love with the office temp, Ryan. The two of them are either always fighting in the office or making out inappropriately in front of everyone. People have complained to HR to no avail. She just doesn't get it.
