Haven't we all dreamed about have super powers? Dreaming of these incredible powers provided fodder for future creators and writers to bring our favorite comic books to life, and these comic books would ultimately lead to the release of the comic books movies which now dominate the box office. The power of dreams is incredible, and with a more diverse cast of characters appearing on the big screen, children everywhere are able to find a hero to look up to and dream of being one day.

Now, as we all know, all powers come with a variety of positives and negatives, and each one of us would choose a very distinct set of abilities to use, presumably for good. However, plenty of us have also thought about playing the role of the villain, scheming different ways of defeating heroes and following through with our methodical plan. Whether you usually dream about using your powers for good or for evil isn't relevant, because today, we are going to focus on being a villain.

We are going to present you 35 different powers to choose from. Judging by the answers that you give us, we will tell you which famous hero you could defeat!

Would You Choose Flight?

Many of us have dreamed of being able to do this, and the possibilities are seemingly endless with this ability. Many heroes possess this ability, but it wouldn’t necessarily guarantee success against foes. After all, learning to fly is going to take some time, and this could allow people to get away at first.

Would You Choose Super Intelligence?

What would it be like to be the smartest person in the world? We have seen a number of people like this in comic books, and while their intellect is unrivalled, this doesn’t guarantee them success in their plans. Also, you could be too smart for other people, finding them dull and boring.

Don’t you just hate it when you look at your arm or leg and see a random bruise? You have no recollection of how it got there, and it only serves to irritate you. With impenetrable skin, you would never have to worry about cuts or bruises again, making you feared by all.

Say what you will about special powers, but wealth could easily be considered among the greatest powers a person can have. There is nothing super about Bruce Wayne. Training aside, he’s just an incredibly rich man who can afford to make all of the super toys that he could ever want.

How cool would this be? Being able to manipulate water, not just the ocean, gives you a wealth of opportunities to flex your powers to the world. Even a glass of water could be used to your advantage in a given situation. This ability could make you incredibly powerful and dangerous.

Not unlike being able to manipulate water, being able to manipulate and control fire would be equally devastating. Of course, you are more inclined to come across water than fire, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t carry around a lighter with you at all times. Haven’t you seen X-Men 2?

Would You Choose Metal Manipulation?

Now this could be a devastating power. In this day and age, finding things that aren’t made of metal has become rare, and with this ability, you would be able to do virtually anything that you wanted to. If you’re creative enough, you could stop anyone. Unless, of course, you use your powers for evil.

Would You Choose Weather Manipulation?

Controlling and changing the weather would allow you the ability to stack the deck in your favor whenever a fight should arise. Even if you’re indoors, the smallest breeze can be altered and used to ensure victory for you and your team. Plus, you could always make sure the weather is to your liking.

This may end up being the most popular choice on this list. However, we want people to carefully consider this choice. Yes, having a healing factor would make you virtually indestructible in battle, but as we saw in Logan, it will fade away eventually, leaving you weathered and lonely in the process.

If you aren’t careful, this power could prove to be a major annoyance for you. The ability to stretch your skin, barring that you’re a creative person, could provide you endless possibilities for executing your brilliant plan to perfection. Now, we aren’t saying that you will know everything that will happen until the end of time, perceiving time as occurring all at once like Doctor Manhattan. Imagine being able to send yourself wherever you want, whenever you want. With the ability to teleport, nothing is off limits, as long as you can visualize it well enough in your mind’s eye. Though some people felt this way in high school by no choice of their own, having the ability to become invisible could be incredibly useful. The best part is that you wouldn’t need a cloak to do it. Having this power could leave you walking on eggshells around people, and for good reason. Being able to communicate through the mind would render your foes confused and at a huge disadvantage. This power could get incredibly messy, so choose at your own risk. The ability to travel through time has fascinated humans for as long as we can remember, but this power comes with huge responsibilities. It can be useful in righting some wrongs, but it can drastically change the world you know.

A healing factor does not guarantee immortality, and we advise caution if you plan on choosing this power. Immortality will keep you alive for as long as the sands of the hourglass continue to fall, meaning that your many lifetimes in this universe will be filled with losing your loved ones repeatedly.

Would You Choose Shapeshifting?

Imagine being able to turn into anything that you can think of. Those of us who grew up reading Animorphs always wished we could transform into animals. With this power, nothing would be off limits, allowing you the choice to be as creative as possible while doing whatever you please.

Would You Choose X-Ray Vision?

At this point, many people may find this power to be a bit boring when compared to other abilities, but some may find it useful. It could be used as a great tool when helping people dealing with serious injuries and when scouting a building for potential foes.

This power would only be useful during a specific time of day, so unless you plan on wiping out certain heroes or villains, you may want to look towards choosing a different power. If you choose this power, however, taking care of your business at night would become exponentially easier.

We imagine that doing this for this first time could absolutely terrifying. Being able to project yourself onto the astral plane could provide you endless opportunities for taking care of business wherever you please. But, you would also leave yourself incredibly vulnerable to anyone who should stumble upon your body.

Those who aren’t familiar with your powers would be in for a world of trouble when you did this for the first time. With this ability, you would be able to manipulate the very fabric of reality for anyone who would get in your way, making their lives a living hell in the process.

Having an incredible intellect is one thing, but possessing omniscience is something entirely different. Having omniscience means that you legitimately know everything. This would mean that you always know the most effective choices to make when it comes to obtaining what you desire most. Life, however, could become incredibly boring.

This may not be as cool as being able to fly wherever you please, but being able to levitate to any extent could be useful. In terms of combat, you could always have the high ground against any opponent, assuming that they can’t levitate as well. Levitating could be a good way to intimidate people as well.

Imagine having the ability to communicate with the dead. With the power of necromancy, this power would be yours to wield, and it could provide you a wealth of opportunities. While being able to communicate with the dead would be cool, technopathy might trump it completely. With this ability, you could manipulate all electronics with your mind. This means that just about anything, especially in big cities, can be manipulated and used as a weapon should you feel frisky enough.

There is something to be said about not being able to miss your shot, and this could leave your opponent questioning their decision to engage in combat with you. This power could open up a huge can of worms, so choose this at your own risk. While time travel would allow you to travel through our timeline, this ability would allow you to go to alternate dimensions. Say what you will about the basic use of magic, but those who wield it to its full capabilities are capable of pulling off the impossible. We have seen a number of magical beings make huge impressions on audiences, and assuming that you perfect your craft, the sky is the limit for what you could do.

All the powers in the world can’t help you if the person you are fighting is just as skilled. Because of this, you need to make sure that you can hold your own while duking it out. Being an expert in combat would allow you the ability to channel your inner Conor McGregor and destroy your foe.

With this power you could always sense and feel how other people are feeling. No, this isn’t nearly as cool as flying or as using magic, but it could make you a person that others could look up to and appreciate. If you’re using it for evil, you can use this to your advantage when getting information from the enemy.

Being able to tell how people feel and relating with them is great and all, but imagine being able to control how people feel. While you can’t get people to do your bidding, you have them feeling however you want, getting them to slowly see things your way, assuming your powers are strong enough.

The person who chooses psionics is choosing to bear the weight of incredible power, and their psychic abilities can make them nearly unbeatable to those who stand up against them.

Seeing a few seconds into the future can be useful in combat, but most of the time, it will only reveal useless things pertaining to your everyday life. Divination would give you the ability to answer unthinkable questions for yourself and others. If you’re with a team, you could be a huge part of their success or failure.

Imagine having the ability to manipulate others without them realizing what’s going on. Hypnosis doesn’t just mean that a person stays in a trance. Having this ability would give you a massive advantage over your competition. Wherever you are, you would also sense when danger was right around the corner, giving you time to process the danger and plot your next move.
