While most wrestling matches these days allows for wrestlers to kick out of finishers on a regular basis, there are some that remain as destructive as ever, and opponents can hardly move after eating one of these signature moves. Professional wrestling is meant to tell a story, and the finisher, assuming that the story has been told well enough, will get people to leave their seats and erupt in applause. It is an essential part of a wrestler's arsenal, and it is something that each wrestler seeks to make their own.

Finishers have come in the form of a number of different moves over the years, and while they are used to get people going and end the match, not all finishers are created equal. As we have seen on countless occasions, some finishers leave people speechless while others leave the audience wishing that someone else had been performing. If you watch wrestling for long enough, you are bound to pick out your favorite finishers, and even dream of the finisher that you'd use.
