Pick Your Favorite TV Men And We'll Give You A Pair Of TV Brothers

Father's Day is quickly approaching here in the States, but let's take today to talk about brothers. Maybe you're tired of your siblings or maybe you just want to hang out with two guys, so let's get you on that path. Today, you're going to rate some male TV characters and we'll pick a pair of TV brothers to give you.

We do have some ground rules for this quiz, so let''s go right ahead.

All of the characters on here are human men, so no aliens, no talking animals, none of that. We're not discriminating against Brian Griffin, we promise.

All of the characters on here are legal men. In other words, no small children, like Bart Simpson or Stewie Griffin. The youngest character on here is 17-years-old, which in many parts of the world passes as a legal adult.

Characters from franchises that feature movies (i.e. Marvel) are included, but no movie-exclusive characters who may make a cameo in a show. Phil Coulson would be eligible because he's in both Marvel movies and shows as a major character, but Nick Fury's short appearances in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. would not be.

If you're fine with all of the rules we've presented, let's get to work and try to find you a pair of brothers.

Question 1

Daryl Dixon

The rugged bad boy himself from the backwoods of Georgia, fans of "The Walking Dead" should prepare for plenty of Daryl Dixon in the coming years with Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes) and Lauren Cohan (Maggie Greene) each scheduled to leave the show this season. Daryl still has his crossbow and his bike to the pleasure of many fans, but what do you think of Daryl?

Question 2

Damon Salvatore

As far as bad boys with a heart of gold go, Damon kind of takes the cake. He is admittedly a bad boy, but in the end he still would do anything for those he loves. And he loves a lot easier than he seems to think. He sets expectations of him quite low so that he never disappoints, but honestly, he rarely does. What do you think about him?

Question 3

Rick Grimes

Rick Grimes' days on The Walking Dead are numbered with Andrew Lincoln reportedly leaving the show this season, though we'll still try to appreciate Rick's journey from small-town cop to ruthless murderer in the zombie apocalypse. He'll be with Carl and Lori soon enough, at least. After eight seasons on the air, what do you think of the famous Rick Grimes?

Question 4

Earnest Marks

The hustling man from "Atlanta," Earnest Marks is yet another example of how good Donald Glover is as an actor. I've said it before and I'l say it again: Glover and Michael B. Jordan are quickly becoming two of the most influential black actors of all-time. (Chadwick Boseman may wind up joining them.) What do you think of Earn Marks?

Question 5

Stefan Salvatore

The softer and kinder of the Salvatore brothers Stefan has a bad past that only slowly leaks through in the show. Contrary to his brother, who puts all of his bad cards out on the table right away, Stefan has lived 160+ years trying to make up for some of his bad 'ripper' mistakes. Do you forgive him?

Question 6

Nathan Scott

Nathan is the privileged one of the Scott brothers who grew up with his dad, Dan. Whereas Lucas grew up without his father, having been abandoned when his mom told Dan that she was pregnant. The attention Nathan got, and Lucas thought he wanted, however, turned out to not be that great. Nathan is initially presented as a bit of a jerk, but then we start to see a lot more of his better side with his new wife Hayley and as he gets farther away from Dan.

Question 7

Walter White

With this being five years since Breaking Bad ended, I think a rewatch may be in short order. Who doesn't want to relive the adventures of high school chemistry teacher Walter White becoming a drug kingpin in New Mexico? If you do join me in the rewatch, make sure to throw some pizza on the roof to celebrate one of the best shows in TV history. What do you think of Walter White?

Question 8

Lucas Scott

The intelligent and whimsical Scott brother, Lucas is a troubled and sensitive guy that has a hard time choosing which girl he's in love with. In the end he finally makes it work with Peyton, after a few bumps along the way. He is somewhat of the neglected Scott, but only by his dad. We see that throughout his life he had some much love and support from his mom, his uncle Keith, his friends at the River Court, and his best friend Hayley.

Question 9

Jaime Lannister

Two things before we start. First, it's Jaime, not Jamie, which I've always found interesting. Second, while I'll acknowledge the Kingslayer has made some interesting and curious choices over the year, there's no denying that he's awesome. At least, that's what I'd say if you asked me how I felt about him. Tell me how you feel about him?

Question 10

Sterling Archer

Whenever I see Sterling Archer, I'm reminded of H. Jon Benjamin's comedy skit in "Family Guy" as Carl. Because H. Jon Benjamin uses his natural speaking voice for all three characters, he does perfect impressions of Bob and Sterling Archer. "What if those guys met? Hey Archer, it's Bob. Hey Bob, it's Archer. Thank you." What do you think of Sterling Archer?

Question 11

The Man in Black

We could call Man in Black by his real name, but what's the risk in spoiling it? We love MIB for his cruelty and the occasional time he shows his human side. Season 2 of Westworld has done an even better job going into what makes Man in Black tick - and if you don't believe me, go watch episode 4 from season 2. Starting at 51 minutes in, everything makes sense.

Question 12

Jon Snow

I'm just going to be vague when talking about Game of Thrones because this is the time of year where people either rewatch the show or finally try getting into it. Let's just keep it simple and say that Jon Snow's journey has been full of deception and tricks for years, but we're excited to see whatever the future holds. What do you think of Jon Snow?

Question 13

Ray Holt

Type Ray Holt into Google and you'll find plenty of articles and videos about his one-liners and wit. In a police show that emerged as a sleeper hit, Andre Braugher's captain of the 99th Precinct was among the biggest stars and for good reason. There's a reason why the show's fandom is so happy Holt's one-liners won't go away anytime soon.

Question 14

Bruce Wayne

Who wants to talk superheroes here? For this one, we're limiting this to the Bruce Wayne on "Gotham." So if you're like me and you love the Batman from "Batman: The Animated Series," you'll have to hold off on that. We've seen this version of Bruce go from a damaged child to a rising vigilante in the streets of Gotham. What do you think of him?

Question 15

Oliver Queen

The modern version of the Green Arrow, let's talk about Oliver Queen. He's a bit like Tony Stark and Bruce Wayne, but also has some Clint Barton and Peter Parker in him. Is Oliver Queen the most well-rounded of the current superheros? We'll let you decide that by picking one of the following options below.

Question 16

Matthew Murdock/Daredevil

Let's talk even more superheroes, but this time, we'll head over to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Matt Murdock was blinded as a boy before becoming a successful lawyer. Then, Murdock became the hero of Hell's Kitchen and took the name Daredevil. Who else is excited for this show's third season and a likely rematch with The Kingpin? What do you think of Daredevil?

Question 17

Luke Cage

The second season of "Luke Cage" comes out later this month and I couldn't be more excited. (The added screentime for Misty Knight means nothing when I get to see more Bobby Fish!) Originally known as Carl Lucas, that man broke free of prison and now saves Harlem as a bulletproof man. We love Luke Cage, but how do you feel?

Question 18

Danny Rand/Iron Fist

I prefer calling him Danny Rand as opposed to Iron Fist because that's not his true superhero name to this point, but it is what it is. You can call him whatever you want and tell us however you feel about the man who possesses the power of the Immortal Iron Fist. Because yes, we are that technical. We're so sorry.

Question 19

Ghost Rider

Those who want to forget about the Nicholas Cage version of the character won't have to worry here, as we're instead talking about Gabriel Luna's version of the character from "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Which, by the way, I just started rewatching because next year's "Captain Marvel" will feature S.H.I.E.L.D. and now seemed like a good time. The show is still great, honestly. What do you think of Robbie Reyes?

Question 20

Jim Gordon

Every superhero needs a guy in the chair or someone without powers they can trust, a job Jim Gordon has held for years in the Batman franchise. Like with Bruce Wayne, we're only looking for your feelings on the "Gotham" version of the character, not him in any other Batman medium. (And yes, BTAS still runs away with the best Gordon.)

Question 21

Phil Coulson

I'm going to make the joke. I have to make the joke. You ready for me to make the joke. SON. OF. COUL. I'm so sorry, but I always think of Thor's nickname for the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent whenever I hear Phil Coulson's name. Coulson was a breakout hero in the Marvel movies and was rewarded with his own show, so what do you think of Nick Fury's eye? (That's not a joke, that's what Fury calls him.)

Question 22

Sam Winchester

"No matter how many times I try to fight it, this is what I was put here to do. This is where I make the world a better place." While Supernatural's fandom can be divisive about the show's more recent seasons, I've learned that sometimes, the best thing to do is sit back and get nostalgic about your favorite moments. That's one of my favorite Sam moments, but what do you think of him?

Question 23

Dean Winchester

And since we used a quote in his brother's entry, here's one for Dean. "We can either take on the Devil together, or you lame-ass bitches can eat me. Literally." And before you ask if it's cheating that we include two brothers on here when they could very well be a possible final verdict for you, my response is, "You're just as screwed up as I am, you're just... bigger."

Question 24

Negan

If Andrew Lincoln and Lauren Cohan are both leaving "The Walking Dead" this season, what's next for Negan? Is he going to become a hero? An anti-hero like he does in the comics? Will Jeffrey Dean Morgan jump ship as well to possibly join the Marvel Cinematic Universe? For now, go and tell us what you think of the big, bad, Negan.

Question 25

Jack Pearson

Everyone loves "This is Us" and the massive ratings show that, so I'm expecting the majority of people to say that Jack Pearson is their favorite. That also means I'm likely to be extremely wrong, as I've had a tendency of being in the past. You know what they say about assuming? It doesn't end well. What do you think of Jack?

Question 26

Alaric Saltzman

When were first introduced to Alaric, he is a bit scary and incredibly vengeful. He saw his wife turned into a vampire by Damon and had plotted revenge, having believed that she was killed and not turned. He then found out that she had been turned at her own request and it wasn't Damons fault at all. They very quickly become best friends after that, as the two tortured souls that they are.

Question 27

Jessie Pinkman

I would normally make a reference to some of Jesse's more iconic lines, but let's not do that right now. And no, it is not Jessie Pinkman. It is Jesse Pinkman, a mistake I still find myself making once in a while because other people do it. The show's been off the air for five years! What'd you think of this fan favorite?

Question 28

Danny Wheeler

Baby Daddy was a great, underrated comedy, and it was a great opportunity to see Derek Theler week after week. The show has since been cancelled, but we will get another opportunity to see him back on the screen with two new superhero shows this year! Danny Wheeler was the NHL player softie, that had been in love with his best friend since he was very young, and she was overweight and not always happy with herself.

Question 29

Tyrion Lannister

Look what Tyrion doing in that picture with his hair. We used to call hair like that a "flow" when I was younger, which means that term definitely means something else and kids this day would associate it with something else. At least kids these days seem to have strong opinions on Mr. Lannister, opinions you're going to share with us.

Question 30

Sheldon Cooper

I don't think Sheldon Cooper needs any introductions, especially not after "The Big Bang Theory" has been on the air for over a decade to this point. I've learned more pub trivia from Sheldon than I have by actually going to the bar. Too bad that hasn't helped me win at HQ yet. What do you think of Sheldon?
