We all have our favorite characters from our favorite television shows, and we may be drawn to these people based on their humor, their strengths, or their interests. In fact, a lot of the time, we tend to enjoy characters who are sort of like us, and we imagine either being these people or hanging out with these people. We want to live and write in New York like Carrie Bradshaw. We dream of playing football for the Dillon Panthers. We wish we could eat as many donuts as Homer Simpson. We would love to work in the Pawnee parks and rec department.
And while these shows and characters are just fiction, our favorite ones do say a great deal about us... like what our favorite stores are! If we're as fashionable as Carrie Bradshaw, we probably enjoy shopping at trendy stores. If we're athletic, we tend to venture into places that sell sporting goods. If we eat like Homer Simpson does, we may enjoy stocking up on groceries. And if we enjoy work and organization, we shop for items that help us accomplish these tasks.
