It’s a good time to be a nerd.
While sci-fi and fantasy have always reigned supreme during the summer blockbuster season, you no longer have to wait for this specific time of year to enjoy your favorite genres. And not only is nerd culture gone a lot more mainstream, it’s actually considered cool! This might seem like a cruel twist of fate if you grew up in the ‘70s and ‘80s when reading a comic book or playing Dungeons & Dragons could have earned you a beat down from the schoolyard bully.
Of course, all of these superhero movies and fantasy shows also mean a lot more nerdy heroines to feast your eyes upon. And, as it turns out, some of these actresses are also nerds in real life. But unless you’re a celebrity yourself, there’s a slim chance that you’d ever get to make one of them your wife.
That being said, there are plenty of everyday women out there who have the same nerdy hobbies that your life revolves around. And they don't all wear horn-rimmed glasses and have braces as certain movies would like to make you think.
So it's time to rate your favorite nerdy ladies and see what your future wife will look like!
