Pick Your Favorite NBA Players And We'll Tell You Which Jordans To Buy

Black Friday is right around the corner and that means it's time to spend your hard-earned money on the simple things in life. Things like shoes, video games, and makeup. Who cares about saving up for your rent or a new car when you can buy a video game you're going to forget about within ten days?

But when it comes to shoes or things related to the NBA, feel free to spend as much as you want. Today, you're going to pick NBA players in questions that range from the best point guard today to the best Lakers Hall of Famer and your answer will tell you what Jordan shoe to get when you have a chance.

At this time, I should clarify that not all of these players are under the Jordan brand. That does not matter in this quiz. All that matters is you pick certain players in certain questions and we give you a certain Jordan shoe to consider buying on Black Friday or for the holiday season.

I'm sticking to my loafers and my beat-up slippers, but since you're in the mood to get some new shoes, let's get to work on today's quiz, shall we?

Question 1

LeBron James or Michael Jordan?

There's probably something wrong with asking this in a Michael Jordan-related quiz, but conversations about if LeBron James has passed His Airness in the legacy standings seem to pop up each year. As of late 2017, who do you think is higher on the legacy scale? There is no wrong answer her, we promise!

Question 2

Pick a current point guard

Is it possible that this is the best point guard core we've ever seen in the NBA? Given that all four of these players have already clinched their Hall of Fame busts (John Wall is the most iffy at this point, but keep in mind their standards), you won't go wrong when picking here.

Question 3

Pick a current shooting guard

Even if James Harden can play both the one and the two, it only makes sense to count him as a shooting guard with Chris Paul healthy again, right? With how much parity there is in the NBA and how many stars are dominating the league, you could pick one of these four to lead your franchise today and be fine.

Question 4

Pick a current small forward

Are we going to count Giannis Antetokounmpo even though he plays a fair amount of point guard? Of course we are. There are legitimate debates about whether people would rather have him or Kevin Durant despite this only being the Greek Freak's third real season at this impressive level. Which of these four do you want on your team?

Question 5

Pick a current power forward

Kristaps Porzingis is taking the NBA by storm for a third straight year as he hopes to guide the New York Knicks to the playoffs, but Draymond Green, Anthony Davis, and Blake Griffin all are still doing their thing. Griffin is going to probably end up regretting signing long-term, though. Who are you picking as your starting four?

Question 6

Pick a current center

While Rudy Gobert is hurt for the Utah Jazz, Pelicans center DeMarcus Cousins is playing above his career averages. Elsewhere, both DeAndre Jordan and Karl-Anthony Towns are doing their normal, dominant things for the Los Angeles Clippers and Minnesota Timberwolves respectively. Which of the following centers do you want on your team?

Question 7

Pick one of the Big Three (plus Rondo) Celtics

Commonly called the first Superteam despite many prior teams having done such a feat in the past (the Lakers had done it just a few years prior when they landed Gary Payton and Karl Malone), the combination of Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, and Rajon Rondo won a title in 2008 and came close two years later. Who was your favorite?

Question 8

Pick a 2017 rookie

Discounting Ben Simmons - who technically is a rookie but really is in his second season - from this list, which of these rookies would you take to start your franchise? Keep in mind that taking Lonzo Ball means you're going to be spending plenty of time with LaVar Ball and the Big Baller family.

Question 9

Pick a Hall of Fame point guard

These four point guards may be long retired (although you can have plenty of fun balling with them in NBA 2K18), but their legacies still live on. And in the case of the New York Knicks, Isiah Thomas' legacy most definitely continues to live on. Which of these four point guards would you want as your floor general?

Question 10

Pick a Hall of Fame shooting guard

Say what you want about Tracy McGrady's Hall of Fame case because there were a fair amount of people up in arms about it, but he's enshrined along with these other three men at the end of the day. If you had to start a franchise with one of these four in their primes, who are you taking?

Question 11

Pick a Hall of Fame small forward

We're playing around with 1980s small forwards here and, let's be honest, you can't go wrong with starting a franchise in any of these four. Before Bill Simmons comes out of nowhere to start yelling about why Larry Legend is with these other four, make sure to use proper judgement with your starting three.

Question 12

Pick a Hall of Fame power forward

In today's NBA where the stretch four is so popular, would these big men be able to have the success they did? Regardless, they're Hall of Famers for what they did in their era - although had Charles Barkley not been enough on the court, he might have gotten in solely off his broadcasting career. Who are you picking?

Question 13

Pick a Hall of Fame center

Like with the power forwards, we're not quite sure how these big men would fare in today's game - could you imagine Shaquille O'Neal needing to take three pointers? - but they're in the Hall of Fame and they're not leaving. Which of these four centers are you picking as part of your team?

Question 14

Pick a Laker Hall of Famer

NBA 2K18 added All-Time teams this year where all 30 teams - so long as players were licensed - would have the 15 or so best players. Teams like the Lakers and Celtics were pretty deep, while the Nets or Clippers didn't have the fanciest rosters. Which of these Hall of Famers are you taking?

Question 15

Pick a Celtics Hall of Famer

"Leadership is diving for a loose ball, getting the crowd involved, getting other players involved. It's being able to take it as well as dish it out. That's the only way you're going to get respect from the players." -- Larry Bird. Which Celtics Hall of Famer are you picking here? You can pick a player who shares a position with the Laker you chose.

Question 16

Russell Westbrook or Chris Paul?

Neither is Stephen Curry, but many will argue that one of these two is the NBA's second best point guard behind the two-time MVP. Paul's been injured for a good chunk of this season so far and Westbrook's stats haven't gotten as much publicity because it's no longer him doing all the work, but who would you rather have?

Question 17

Kristaps Porzingis or Joel Embiid?

With Kristaps Porzingis, you're getting a proven big man who can be trusted to stay on the court. Joel Embiid has the higher ceiling, but are you really going to take a chance on someone with injury and maturity issues? It's your call - just try to think wisely and not take one game into account.

Question 18

Shaquille O'Neal or Tim Duncan?

Both Shaq and Tim Duncan are retired - is this really the second full season without Duncan in the league? - but they were the dominant center and power forward during their prime. Even stranger than both being retired is how long Duncan remained valuable after O'Neal's final strong season in 2008-09. Which of the two would you rather have?

Question 19

Rasheed Wallace or Ben Wallace?

Two of the top big men in the 2000s for the Detroit Pistons, the Wallace twins (although they weren't even brothers) made it near-impossible to get in the paint. We talked about how some of the big men would play now, but these two would be fine in today's game. Who would you rather have?

Question 20

Pick a future Hall of Fame point guard

Steve Nash, Jason Kidd, and Tony Parker are all obvious locks, but Stephon Marbury? When you remember that this is the BASKETBALL Hall of Fame and a player's impact is heavily weighed into votes, what Marbury did during his career in China will certainly have him enshrined. Who are you picking as your point guard?

Question 21

Pick a future Hall of Fame shooting guard

I know what you're thinking: Dwayne Wade was so good in his prime that he had this clinched ten years ago. Not even Joe Johnson or Vince Carter are enough. But does Wade's injury history and him going from this elite, electrifying scorer to just an above-average shooting guard hurt his case? That's up for you to decide among these four players!

Question 22

Pick a future Hall of Fame forward

At this point, there's not many small forwards other than the obvious active ones - LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony - that are Hall of Fame locks right now. Paul Pierce is headed there, Shawn Marion will likely get in at some point, and the same goes for Grant Hill, but the conversation is instead loaded with big men. Which of these four are you picking?

Question 23

Pick a future Hall of Fame big man

These four may seem like questionable Hall of Fame picks, but Dwight Howard already had his bust clinched by 2010. Stoudemire will be a fringe pick that should get in because of his global impact, Randolph will impress the voters with grit, and Chris Bosh sealed his place in the Hall probably when the Heat won their second Finals in 2013. Who are you picking?

Question 24

Pick a forgotten 2000s NBA star

All four of these players, at least when it comes to the majority of NBA fans, have seemingly been forgotten either because their careers ended way too early or they never played in major markets. Or, if you're Gilbert Arenas, you made some silly shots. Pun intended. Definitely. Which of these four players did you like most?

Question 25

Who will win NBA MVP this year?

We're one month into the NBA season and it's entirely all four of these these four will drop out of the race. Maybe LeBron will get into it with LaVar Ball or James Harden will get the Lil B curse put on him. But as of right now, who has the highest chance to win the MVP this season?
